Executive summary
Recently, the cloud computing has become a booming area as well as the
emerging trend in case of the information technology domain. It provide on-
demand storage and remote access to the data. Unlike the existing traditional
computing environments, the data in a cloud environment is stored on several
virtual or physical servers, which are hosted by third-party service provider. In
order to enhance the computerized application there exist series of cloud service
providers, which is mainly the third party organization that provides several
components of cloud computing such as SaaS, IaaS and PaaS. This report is
going to discuss about the cloud environment, different cloud service providers,
their security issues and the challenges in the development and deployment of
cloud environment. Lastly, the report will suggest some recommendations to
improve and ensure the security of the cloud environment.

Introduction
Cloud computing has enhanced the capabilities of information technology
by improving its ability by avoiding the licensing software and expensive
infrastructure. Among its numerous benefits, the cloud environment handovers
flexibility in accessing the computation resources as per user demand [1]. The
effectiveness of the cloud approach has changed dramatically and the business
are gaining immense advantages from the same by tapping the necessary cloud
resources. In addition, the minimal investment, cost reduction, and rapid
deployment are the vital factors that are driving the business organizations to
adopt the cloud service. There exist numerous cloud service providers from
which the organizations can take benefits to improve their business operations
[2]. This report is going to briefly discuss about the cloud environment and cloud
service providers. In addition, security issues in the SaaS, IaaS and the private
cloud along with the potential challenges occur in developing and deploying the
different models. Lastly, the report will show the overall analysis and some
suggestion to avoid the challenges.
Cloud computing environment
The cloud computing environment is an emerging graceful approach for
supporting the operations of several IT-related services. In the age of an
informational environment such service is getting popular day by day. The name
“Cloud computing” is named so as the data, that is to be accessed is remotely
found in a particular virtual space or cloud environment. The firms, responsible
for providing cloud services, allows the clients to store their application and files
on the remote servers and provide access to them through the internet. As it
provide the facility and flexibility to work remotely; hence, it is not necessary for
the user to be present in a particular place to get access to their stored data. In
business context, the particular is beneficial in resolving numerous IT challenges
efficiently inside the organization. Different service provided by the cloud
computing approach encompasses email, creation of several testing application,
analysing the data, video and audio streaming, storage, retrieval and backup of
data and delivering different software on demand. Cloud computing when
combined with the agile methodology, provides improved business agility,
qualitative code and improved productivity [1].
