Summary of the paper
Cloud computing is an advanced computing technology which is able
to control and handle large data sets effectively. This investigation reviews
and evaluate a journal article based on cloud computing technology. The
title of the selected paper is Security in cloud computing: Opportunities and
challenges that were provided by Mazhar, Samee and Athanasios in the
year 2015. This paper provided and highlighted the challenges and
opportunities in the context of cloud computing (Ali, Khan, & Vasilakos,
2015). The purpose of this paper is to identify the security challenges and
issues associated with cloud computing and evaluate the key factors that
increase security issues in cloud technology.
It is observed that cloud computing has the potential to deliver cost-
effective and reliable services to the consumers which help the companies
for improving the performance of developed systems. The authors argued
that this advanced technology upsurges the abilities of the hardware
sources by optimal and shared utilization in order to manage the data of the
consumers (Rao, & Selvamani, 2015). This research shows the comparative
study about cloud computing and also examines the security-related threats
and attacks occurred in the systems. It is observed that the services and
networks delivered by third party companies produce security threats in the
networks which impact on the sensitive data of the consumers and also
reduce the performance of the companies. It is observed that many
consumers escalated that cloud computing produce security issues in the
networks.
This proposed investigation provided information related to security
issues which arise due to unauthentic access occurred in the computing
networks and servers used by the companies. Therefore, it is reported that
the consumers should focus on the privacy-related issues while accessing
