Innovation
The concept of cloud computing
has been widely credited with
increase in the level of
competitiveness through
reduction in cost, increase in
elasticity, greater flexibility and
optimal utilization of resources.
It provides 24*7 availability and
performance oriented
infrastructure. (Liu and Zhao
2014)It believes in the
optimization of the available
resources.
The disaster recovery plan of
cloud computing helps in the
process of restoring the data
quickly on the cloud
It is very cost effective and is
exceptionally flexible in nature.
APPLICATION OF CLOUD COMPUTING
SRC (Security, Risk Management and Compliance
Management)
The concept of cloud computing is divided into 3 different
forms of cloud and they include- private cloud, hybrid cloud
and public cloud. They have their characteristics. Its flexible
and cost efficient nature helps in making the flow of data
smooth and it is associated with the managed cloud services.
Although there are several questions raised on its reliability,
cloud computing functions in rapid manner (Khalil, Khreishah
and Azeem 2014). It offers the possibility of storing the files
and accessing them while retrieving them from the web-
enabled interface.

WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING
Introduction
Cloud Computing is all about
manipulation, configuration and
accessibility of the different
applications online (Shawish and
Salama 2014).
Cloud computing offers the
online data storage, application
and infrastructure.
It is combination of different
hardware and software based
computing sources that are
delivered as a network service
to the users (Al-Rousan 2015).
History
Cloud computing become popular
when Amazon.com released the first
Elastic Compute Cloud product in the
year 2007 (Barbarossa, Sardellitti and
Di Lorenzo 2014).
The term "cloud" was first used for
refering to the different platforms for
distributing teh computing in 1993. It
refers to a "Internet" or "Network".
Big Data analytics
One of the many aspects that are offered by
means of leveraging the cloud computing is the
potential of tapping into the huge range of
quantities of both types of unstructured and
structured data for harnessing the advantage of
extracting the value of business (Ayram 2014).
1.Security Issues- It is the top most concern in cloud computing as about 77
percent of the people have claimed that there is a security issue with cloud
computing. It is very important to make sure implementation of the BI cloud
tool, which can leverage security measures (Kaur and Rai 2014).
2. Containment and cost management- According to many, in the cloud, a
company could easily ramp up its capabilities of processing without making
any significant investments in its hardware.
3. Shortage of expertise and resources- Companies today are placing more
load in the cloud while the technologies related to cloud is rapidly
advancing. For this reason, companies are facing tough times in keeping up
with the tools and other necessary resources (Sadiku, Musa and Momoh
2014).
4.Compliance- It can be a significant issue for anyone who use backup
service or cloud storage. When a company moves its information and date
from the internal storage to cloud, it face with being compliant with the
regulations of industry and the laws (Oliveira, Thomas and Espadanal 2014).
