1. Project title
Project title is development of cloud-based ERP system.
2. Project problem domain
It is found that earlier ERP system are used by the organizations for managing their
operations however they face number of challenges including resistance in sharing
information, problem in accessing information as well as cost associated with installation of
ERP. In order to resolve those issues and challenges, the organizations want to move to cloud
based ERP system. The key research question for the project are listed below:
1. What are the advantages of moving towards cloud-based ERP system?
2. What are problems that are resolved with the use of Cloud ERP system?
3. Background of the project
The organizations use ERP system for storing data and information. However due to
the utilization of ERP system they generally face number of problems. The problems that are
faces by the organization includes problem in accessing information after office hour, lack of
security and more. Therefore, for resolving the challenges, the organization wants to move
the ERP system into cloud.
4. Project aim
The main aim of the project is to develop cloud-based ERP system so that information
as well as data can be accessed from anywhere irrespective of the location.
