Type 2 is the first virtualization techniques that has developed. It is designed to run on existing
OS. The advantage of type 2 is it not require any special hardware to run.
The Type 1 virtualization, the operating system and any virtual machines run through the same
hypervisor. This makes it faster than type 2
Q. What is another name given to Type 1 virtualization systems?
The another name of Type 1 vitualization is the Hypervisor.
