Learning plays a vital role in overall development of an individual. There is need of various
skills that assist an individual to learn in an effective manner (Darling-Hammond and et.al.,
2020). In the report there id discussion related to cognitive difficulties and their impact on
learning of an individual.

Impact of cognitive disabilities upon development of communication and language
Cognitive impairment is a disorder when a person faces problem in learning and
remembering new things. It is seen that the individuals are unable to concentrate and at the same
time their decision making power is also low. It is seen that these type of children face issue with
learning as they are unable to remember things. It is important to note that when they learn
language. Small children that face the difficulty of this cognitive impairment are unable to retain
the things that they learn their power to remember things is less as compared to other children
(Herodotou, 2018). It is necessary to note that they are unable to concentrate and are low at
learning. It is necessary to learn effectively and communicate with each other. It is seen that
these children are unable to communicate with others and they do not learn and speak in an
effective manner.
Their attention level reduces and is not able to concentrate and that get irritated and
agitated. It is necessary to note that these people well lethargic and that is the reason there level
of learning is low. They have feeling of fatigue and face impairments that let them to focus at
worse. It is important to note that there is need of special attention provided to these students.
Their ability to learn is slow and they are unable to process the information. It is seen that they
face issue in social communication that is because of injury being faced by them (Utley, 2018).
These people are able to do the daily activities but not in a proper manner. They forget the basic
appointments and other important things as well. When they try to learn they understand things
but are unable to retain them. It is seen that it creates problem for them and they are not able to
learn in effective way. The learning of these students is at low pace and they face issue in
remembering the language. The lack of communication skills is seen among these students. All
this is demotivating for them and causes various issues in their life (Wagner, 2017). They are
unable to become independent are in need of help of others to work.

Cognitive skills play an important role in functioning of an individual. It helps in overall
development of the person as it includes the core functions of brain. While learning and
developing knowledge there is need of some cognitive skills that are important. There is need of
some skills that will help them to learn in an effective manner (Azizan and et.al., 2018). The
qualities that are part of brain such as think, learn, listen, understand, question, justify, and pay
close attention. By having these skills a person is able to learn and communicate in an effective
manner. A person that needs to learn is in need of these cognitive skills. It helps them to retain
the information and take effective decisions. There is need of these skills to learn in proper
manner. All these skills will help an individual to work with proper attention and gain insights.
The cognitive skills are necessary as helpful to focus and critically analyse the same. This is
necessary for an individual to learn in an effective manner and use the skills. These skills are
important to an individual and give a relationship among the ideas so that they are able to
process the cause and effect. It will help an individual to know the topic in an effective manner
and then analyse the relationship. They are able to learn new things effectively if they have good
cognitive skills. It is functioning of the brain that supports the individual and let them perform in
an effective manner. Along with that the individual is able to improvise the analytical skills so
that they are able to work effectively. It is seen that all these skills important at school, at work
and in whole life. Their memory level increases and they have good experiences on daily basis.
All these skills play a vital role in life of an individual.
Effect of neurodiversity condition upon learning
Neurodiversity is an approach to education and ability that supports the neurrological
condition that has effect on the health changes in the human genone. It is seen that the brain does
not function effectively. They are generally not accepted by the society. Their brain function,
learns, and processes all the information and data in a different way. The conditions of ADHD,
Dyspraxia, Autism, and Dyslexia make up Neurodiversity (De Smul and et.al., 2018). The
students suffering from Neurodiversity condition face the issue of anxiety as well and are unable
to work regularly. The student X suffers from the condition and that is the reason they are unable
to learn effectively. It is seen that they are unable to retain the data and information that they
have learned. It is important to note that they are unable to compete with other students. It is seen
that they are not able to retain the things that are being taught to them. There is issue of anxiety
