The title of the article is “Nonverbal Behaviour and Communication in the Workplace: A Review
and an Agenda for Research”. This article is written by Silvia Bonaccio, Jane O’Reilly, Sharon
L. O’Sullivan, and François Chiocchio. The intention of this research is to review the literature
on nonverbal behaviour with an eye with respect to applying it to an organizational scenario.
This article was originally published in sagepub.com/journalsPermissions.nav in the year of 2016
together with, the page for this article was 1 –31. The subject of the writer was business
communication. The purpose of a writer is to address Nonverbal Behaviour and Communication
in the Workplace. This article would be considered as an academic source as it helps to develop
the understanding of academician about the nonverbal behaviour and communication in the
workplace. The intended readership would be organizational scholars and I am a member of this
readership. In this article, the academic language was used. The voice of writer including tone
was optimistic. The writer has used professional level of language. Description mode is used to
develop the point of view of the Writer. This article is structured as per the description mode. As
per this mode, the writer has described the research issue by reviewing different kinds of
literature.
I have completed the reading of this article in 32 minutes. I did read this article only one time
due to good reading skills. But, at the same time, I have faced a challenge in reading due to less
command on new English words related to communication. I get frustrated with it. I have used
speed reading strategy, detailed reading, and active reading style. In this way, my unique strategy
was speed reading strategy hence I read the article without compromising the understanding of
text reading. In this way, I have to spend less time on some phrases as compared to others.

professionals”. This article is written by Courtney R. Kernek. The Journal of Organizational
Culture, Communications and Conflict is owned and published by Jordan Whitney Enterprises,
Inc. in the year of 2016 and pages for this article are 1-93. The subject of the writer was
communication. The aim of writing this article is to evaluate impulse control and internet
addiction disorder among business professionals. It would be considered as non-academic
sources because it focuses on business professionals. Indian business professionals would be
intended audience for this article. I am also a member of this readership. In this article, the
formal tone was used by the writer. The level of language was proficient. There are no any
phrases that I had to look-up. The cause/effect modes are used to develop the point of view of the
writer. The article is well-structured as per this mode. The order of events was systematic. I read
this article in 45 minutes and also read this article only 1 time. This reading was not challenging
for me due to a large number of pages. It was interesting to me as it has developed my depth
understanding regarding research issue. I have used Detailed Reading, Active Reading Style, and
Scanning reading strategies. In these strategies, my unique strategy was detailed reading.

The title of this article is “The Hype and Reality of Social Media Use for Work Collaboration
and Team Communication”. This article is written by Peter W. Cardon1 and Bryan Marshall
with the intention of describing the growing adoption of enterprise social networking platforms
by organizations in an attempt to foster better team communication and collaboration. This
article was published in sagepub.com/journalsPermissions.nav and the pages of this article were
273 –293. The subject of the writer was Management Communication. The purpose of this writer
is to identify the issue related to the management communication. This article would be

considered as non-academic source as the survey was conducted in this article on business
professionals. Along with this, the intended audience would be business professionals along
with; I am also a member of this readership. The formal language was used by the writer in this
article. The high level of English language was used and there are no words that I had to look-up.
Description mode is used to develop the point of view of the writer. This article is well-
structured as per this article. The order of events was systematically assessed. I have read this
article in 10 minutes and also read only one time to this article. This was not challenging for me
as the topic of the article was interesting to me. I have used a different reading strategy to
employ for this reading. These strategies are phonemic awareness, Skimming, and Speed
Reading. In this way, speed reading was my unique strategy for reading this article.
