The College Girl To Call Girl by Sarah Schmidt has portrayed the growing intensity
of the needs of the college students in taking part in the sex industry, in this essay, but has
been detailed how the students are being forced to enter the off street sex business to meet the
increasing cost of the education. Here the author has given example of people like Stacy who
comes from the lower or lower middle class families and works for the agencies (Brundage &
Lahey, 2012). These agencies send her to the upscale homes, hotel rooms for providing
sexual services mainly intercourse to the professional clientele. Here the author has presented
her view that with the growth of sex industry, the prostitution has become more socially
acceptable. This is the reason why the students are finding a reasonable way to meet their
economic needs of university tuition fees. Their living and tuition costs are high therefore
70$ per hour and incentives convince more and more college girls to take this path.
However, some of these girls feel that they are not actually prostitutes of allow level
because they are having rich clients who meet them in the luxury hotels. They accept this to
be type of social interaction. But to most of them these are unbearable and they do not want
to do this for their lifetime. To these people, they are in the sex trade and whatever they grant
this is prostitution because they are getting paid for sex. Most of these girls, they are
desperate for money which they need for living and education. Hence it is clear from this

Some of these girls consider this work to be apart time job and were business casuals
and try to maintain professional gapes with the clients but some of them feel much attached

them as their girlfriends. Moreover, this job is lucrative for its economic value and many of
the girls do not find this harmful for their living. However, many of these girls feel that they
must not pursue this profession later in their life despite them find this lucrative as they may

meet their clients later in life. This incident will be harmful for their future profession and
other aspects. It is also clear that these girls, victim of poverty and increasing living as well as
university tuition fees do not let their parents know about this problems. They feel that their
actions and decisions will be hurting their parents. It is clear that the prostitution business in
the sex industry though accepted collage girls to be call girls but this actions are not accepted
by the society till date and these victims do not aim to pursue this profession in their future. It
