INTRODUCTION
Colonization can be termed out as action or process that settling among and establishing
control over indigenous individual of an area (Owings, 2019). This is defined as procedure in
which central system of power dominates that surrounds land and its components. The present
report will be based on to reflect on the impact of colonization and colonization upon first
nations Australians.
MAIN BODY
a. Participation of individual in operations of first nations Australians.
Colonialism termed out as practice of domination that involves the subjugation of one
individual to another (Slater, Green and Walker, 2019). As an individual, I have analysed that
colonization in the Australia has devastating effect on indigenous people. Therefore, the first
nations people must be actively engaged at the outset of emergency planning of public health. I
have recognized that the beginning of colonialism, indigenous individuals continually resisted
the violation of their right to land and this has wide impact on the indigenous cultures and
communities. I have analysed that colonization has wide impact on indigenous Australians.
Hence, one of the worst impact was loss of land. Therefore, land is the sole provider of food,
medicine and other basic requirements of indigenous Australians. Being an individual, I took the
participation in operations of first nation Australians. In this, I have found out that politics plays
a very crucial role in act of colonialism. As an individual I am benefited for undertaking
participation in the colonialism as this enhanced my cultural knowledge. I came to know about
the issues faced by the Aboriginal and Torres islander people. I have also identified the some of
the risk and challenges that has helped in facing aboriginal and Torres strait islander educators.
b. Define ways in which social workers complicit in oppressions created by colonialism and
colonisation.
Colonialism can be termed out as social pattern in which individual who are born in a
given country are used to get treated differently from those who immigrate to it. Social service
workers supported the recovery of the indigenous people from the worst impact of the
colonialism. In terms to offer the effective services, both indigenous and non-indigenous social
workers needs to be better prepared to work with the non-indigenous individuals. Colonization is
term that is inclusive of the control of the land and production by the aboriginal people through
the threat of war. Henceforth, social workers must understand the history and current issues that
