Commercial planning is associated with the planning or the operation for
launching a new product in the market. There are different steps in the
commercial planning which includes the management and strategic planning for
launching the products. These steps are finding the objective or function of the
product, business review, and implementation and evaluation strategy.
Commercial project deals with the requirements of the core business of the
organizations (Bi et al. 2017). It provides the over view of end to end situation of
project planning, execution, monitoring and control. The companies selling the
products can utilize the benefits of the commercial project management in
order to modify and improvise the core business requirements.
Commercial project management and commercial planning plays an important
role for the development and the launch of the product. There are certain steps
involved in both commercial project and commercial planning. These steps hep
to review the products and launch the products based in the market situations
and the consumer base.
The essential keys for the success among participants in the large scale project
are the consistent flow of communication. Proper knowledge sharing between
internal and external stakeholders will help to mitigate the chances of scope
creep in the project and will bring the clarity in the requirements.

The negotiations have done in various ways for Channel Tunnel case. In 1802 the
proposal of creating the tunnel was initiated. The primary trials started after the
proposal. However, in 1975, the planning and progress for the development of
the tunnel stopped. In 1986 the Treaty of Canterbury was signed which allowed
to project to proceed. In 1994 the tunnel was officially opened. However, it has
faced several accidents and damages after the opening.
The negotiation in this case has been done between the government of UK and
France.

The negotiation process between France and UK has enable the progress in the
development of the Tunnel. The making of the tunnel helps to make easy
communication between France and UK.
In order to conduct a successful negotiation process there are several factors
which are needed to be considered (Monghasemi et al. 2017). Some of these
are considering the emotional value and objective of the product or work to be
done. The preparation of the proposal along with proper information, price and
cost are needed to be done for the successful project negotiation process.
