Commonwealth Games Australia 2018: Social and Cultural Interactions Among Athletes and Fans

INTRODUCTION
• They were held in Gold Coast Australia.
• Took place between 4th and 15th April 2018 (Gc2018.com 2018).
• Around 4400 athletes participated in the different events.
• The number of commonwealth nations participating were 71.
• The mascot of the game was a blue koala with indigenous markings named Borobi.

SOCIAL & CULTURAL
• A 12 day festival was organized alongside game to have a happy and cerebration like environment.
• The society was a multicultural integration of a number of people.
• The cultural integration included the amalgamation of the people from different cultures and
ethnicities.
