In his reply to the letter from Albert Einstein, Freud discusses the ways in which the wars
among the human society might be avoided. The celebrated philosopher attempts a discussion on
the various reasons that might lead to the development of the various occasions that lead up to
the wars that have been taking place among the various given societies within the world.
The celebrated philosopher opines that the major reasons for the fights within the country
refer to the development of the violent situations among the countries. The philosopher opines
that the major cause for the violence among the nations refer to the attempts at the resolution of
the conflicting interests among the warring nations. This is also found to be valid in cases of the
personal conflicts as well (Esman, 2017). The philosopher opines that the victory in the case of
fights had depended on the muscular strength of the person in the ancient periods. The victory
then shifted to the use of the better weapons during the fights. Freud further states that the violent
activities were observed to have gone through the changes in the later periods through the
evolution process. The evolution of mankind led to the evolution in the violent behaviors as well
(Esman, 2017). The physical violence that is presented in the modern days is found have been
affected by the intellect of the person as well.
Thus, the above discussion might be concluded that the violent activities on the part of
the human beings majorly result from their desire to achieve power.
