List five characteristics of effective communication that can used by managers when
communicating with their staff or customers.
It has to be clear in nature so that all the recipients are able to understand it and also revert to it
The information have to be circulated in horizontal and open ended way so that all the
stakeholder are able to take part in the same

Describe the characteristics of effective listening techniques. Describe at least four.
Developing a good concentration skill so that no details is lost
Participative nature of the sender and the receiver so that they are able to carry on the
communication process in a sound manner
Unbiased tone so that the communication can be carried on in a proper way and none of
the employees are being hurt
Developing a noise less, quite and well organized place where the conversation can
actually take place properly
Maintaining a proper eye contact so that the communication can take place properly
Explain the importance of feedback in communication, and describe the feedback process.
