Prioritise and set deadlines for development From the above analysis it is quite stated for achieving the desired objectives, it is essential to prioritize the work and set deadlines for development. Through this each and every work activity will be carry out effectively and areas that needs to be enhanced will improve simultaneously. I need to work on my weaknesses being identified above such as developing time management, stress management, effective communication, relationship building and proper management skills (Hossein, 2005). For becoming a HR office at reputed hospitality organization, it is very important to have effective communication, relationship building and time management skills. So these skills should be developed first by joining a course such as English club etc. where I can improve my public speaking for 2 months. It is also vital to learn recent technologies in the field of HR and for this I will learn various software from reputable institute for 5 months. Time management skills will be improved by carrying out work on time and meeting the deadlines on a daily basis. For this, I will note down every task to be performed in the morning and arrange them based on their priority. This will not only improve my time management skill but I can also work on my stress management. I will also attend yoga sessions for 6 months for mental rest as well as to reduce my stress. skillsspeaking2 monthspeople and colleagues to converse Learning latest technologies related to HR This can be improved by joining technical institute which provides training regarding numerous software related to Human Resource Department 5 months Good institute, trainers, Listing measures of success In the above personal development plan, all the necessary actions as well as resources being required long with the required time for achieving the objectives have been discussed. It is clear that if I want to develop my skills than I have to follow a course of action within a given time period only. There are various actions being stated for enhancing the skills such as communication, inter-personal, relationship building, learning technologies, time and stress management skills. However, the main question arises how to assess that the skills or objectives have been achieved or not (Ballou and et.al, 2009). This can be done by listing measures of success and success criteria for each of the developmental gaols and is being defined below: Developmental goals Success criteria Time management skills Efficiency and timely completion of work and how I practice this at my work environment Stress management skills It will be measured after successful completion of the yoga session and the performance level at work Communication skills The way Iinteract with each other and successfulness in making effective relations with others Learning latest technologies related to HR It will be measured after successful completion of the course and how I apply these practices and techniques in my work (Burden, 2002) 6
CONCLUSION Thus, it can be said that for personal as well as professional development, self- managed learning is being considered as an important part. Unless and until an individual makes attempt to overcome its weaknesses, he or she will not able to enhance its weak areas. 7
