Reza Abedini
Reza Abedini is the designer whom I admire the most. He has one of the most
accomplished Iranian graphic designers of all times. His art intrigues me by the way he blurs
lines between design and art. Since my childhood, I have admired his unique style, the way
he combines very simple illustrations with elegant and beautiful layouts and poetic
typography which according to me explores the beautiful language, Persian.
Elements of play can be seen in his work where the image, typography, texture and
the colour are all seen to combine in the silhouette of the figure he shows and sometimes
intertwine with each other in order to create beautiful and soothing patterns which attracts the
viewers and draws them in completely.
One of the most attractive posters By Reza Abedini is the poster of Azer. I feel that
this poster shows his unique style which is abstract and very different from other works. I
wish to achieve this level of creativeness where he has made the positive attractive by
strategic use of lines. The colour combination is one of the major reasons which grabs the
eyes of the people and the design to cover the eyes of the man shows an emotion and creates
a mystery which is more intriguing.

Reza Abedini has always been had a different style and it can be seen in most of his
works which is overlaid and there is a presence of mixture of sizes, typefaces, style and
languages while the use of grids is non-existent.

Alphabet
Alphabet is a London and Sydney based creative studio that basically specializes in
creating campaigns which are very inspiring, develop visual identities and craft brands
(Alphabet Studio 2020). The broad range of mediums on which they work had intrigued me
and make me want to work for this studio. The studio has an experiencing of working in
several industries like arts and entertainment, education, hospitality, government and many
more. I wish to work for this studio which will help in getting the right exposure, learn about
the different mediums and areas on which the company works and helps me develop my
creative skills.
The work that this studio produces is no less than big companies these days and one
of the biggest reasons for this studio in becoming a success is because of the use of colours
wisely and the minimalistic design which is simple yet powerful and strong and grabs the
attention of the viewers which can be seen in the design, violin. Minimalism is very creative
and coming up with intelligent and powerful minimalistic designs are difficult and this studio
successfully manages to do so which attracts me and makes me want to learn this art.
I always focus on making clean and minimalistic posters however, I believe that I still
lack that creativity is required to come up with designs which are simple yet say a thousand
words. Working for the Alphabet will be the best opportunity I will ever get and if I get an
opportunity to work there, I will make sure that I learn and grow myself and create designs
for them and make the company proud.

Playground Paris
Playground Paris is an internationally recognized designer studio that works on many
design works from postcards and posters to clothes and vinyl (Playground 2020). This studio
is slightly different in comparison to the Alphabet in terms of their designs, the use of colours
and in terms of creativity. I find the designs that are produced by this studio is very attractive
and grabs the attention of viewers at one go. The designs match my state and I believe that I
create designs that too some extent matches the designs that are produced by the studio which
are unique, plays with a lot of pop colours and are abstract which catches the attention of the
viewers which can be seen in the art, big man.
The company is a relatively new company however, because of their beautiful and
different art they have been catering to premium clients like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Netflix
and many more (Playground 2020). The company is very strict when it comes to choosing
their illustrators and the company does not make any compromise in doing that. I feel that the
best thing about the company is that it has a very popular and premium client base yet they
still experiment through their designs and motion poster which contributes to people
recognizing brands.
The kind of work that the studio produces is mind blowing and I would like to work
for Playground Paris and get to learn from the talented illustrators the way they work, the
way they use colours and also learn about the different aspects of creative designing which in
can learn only through experience. Working for Playground Paris will be a dream come true
and I would work my best to get into this studio, learn the art work intricately and showcase
my work someday.
