Introduction
 This report covers the communication with the employees during the global pandemic and the
potential issues, communicating with employees regarding the different changes in the company
 It also covers the business deals related to the negotiating an international and cross border and
complains regarding the policy and procedures of the company.

Communication with employees
during global pandemic
 Communication refers to the exchange of the information using the various mediums. Various
communication channels are used in order to deliver the useful information to the receiver.
 , many companies have adopted the work from home culture in order to avoid the spread of the
infection but due to this various challenges is faced by the company one of which is the
communication challenge.
 The crisis have force the companies to shift to the online communication including the business
meetings, arranging the projects online and teams.
 Tesco company faced various issues while communicating during the pandemic as the company
adopted the work from home culture and were working from remote areas and was difficult to
effectively communicate which created various problems but the company took various steps and
provided facilities to the employees so that they can easily communicate with the company

 Every employer is aware that communicating with the
employees during the crisis is a very difficult task.
 It is very important for the leader to communicate
regularly and in effective manner in order to avoid any
difficulty.
 The leader should communicate frequently with their
employees and team members in order to reduce fear
and uncertainty.
 During the times of covid-19 Sainsbury also faced
difficulties when communicating with the employees due
to various restrictions and work from home culture it was
very difficult to coordinate with the employees. But in
order to overcome this difficulty, the company offered
various facilities and overcome the barrier

 The employer should ensure that the employees are free to express
their concerns and opinions.
 During the crisis the employees are given work from home, the
company should make sure that the employees working from
remote areas don not face any difficulty.
 The company should also focus on two-way communication
culture in the company so that employees can raise their issues.
 Asda UK also faced issues various challenges during the situation
of pandemic while communicating with the employees but slowly
overcome this barrier by providing various facilities for the
employees living in remote areas which helped to reduce the
barrier.

 The manager should also ensure that the employees are provided with the office equipment's.
 Many employees fear of losing their job because of financial crisis faced by the companies, so they
should give assurance to the employees that there jobs are secured.
 The managers should communicate clearly regarding any changes in the planning and
implementation of different and new procedures.

 Changes in the organization refers to the movement of the organization from the state of affairs to
another.
 Changes in the company can occur due to various reasons and can be in the form of structure,
strategies, policies, procedures.
 The company should ensure that the employees should know the benefit of the changes which is to
be made in the company.

Conclusion
 From the above report it can be concluded that communication is considered as an integral part in
the functioning of any business.
 The company has to adopt the effective communication channels so that the necessary information
is conveyed to all the employees of the company

TASK 2: What went well?
• My presentation is based on the communication with the employees during the global pandemic situation where I collected the information
regarding the communication channels adopted by the company for the flow of effective communication to all the employees. Due to the
crisis company has adopted the work from home culture, I also mentioned the various challenges the company faced regarding the
communication as it is very important to frequently interact with the employees so that the information is passed to every employee of the
company.
• My presentation also includes the creation of two-way communication as it will help the employees to raise their issues so that managers
can examine and solve their issues quickly. In my presentation also includes the communication of the various changes which the
management makes such as policies, strategies, procedures and plans so that employees are aware about the new policies and strategies. I
also included that the employees should understand the benefit and need of changes in the company which can positively impact the
company. I also focused on building more effective communication channels so that employees and team members can easily coordinate
with each other (Strange, 2020). The company has also introduced various online communication channels which will help the company to
easily coordinate with the managers which can help in easy flow of communication within the organization. My presentation also focused
on the potential issues which company faces during the pandemic regarding communicating with the employees in order to maintain
smooth flow of communication between the company and its employees working form the remote areas.

TASK 2: What needs to be improved?
 My presentation included the data and issues related to the global pandemic but did not cover the recent data of the issues and challenges
faced by the company in communicating with the employees of the company for smooth functioning and communication at all the levels
of the organization. I included the issues related to the communication channels nut did not mention the data which is an important part.
The improvements in my presentation should be the reliable information regarding the global pandemic and also about the
communication channels require for the effective flow of communication within the company (Sull, et.al, 2020).
 I should focus on time management as I did invest my time in making necessary research on the topic through which my presentation did
not include the information which was necessary to give a complete and correct work. We worked in a team and was successful in
making decision but did lack time management through which my presentation was incomplete as I did not invest my time in making
proper research regarding the communication issues faced by the company during the pandemic. I should focus more on improving my
research work and focus on getting reliable information about the topic.

TASK 2: What actions will be taken?
 In order to improve my presentation work and present better quality work in future my core area of improvement will be time
management in order to obtain more reliable information about the work so that I can present good quality and complete work before the
lecturer. In order to improve the time management skill, I should focus on managing my time and divide the work so that I can complete
my work in the specified time period.
 In order to improve I should attend the online sessions and various training programs in order to measure the time taken by me to
complete a task. I should regularly perform the task and self-evaluate the time taken by me in completion of such task and set future
targets to complete the task in less time taken in the former task. By doing this in regular intervals I can achieve the time management
skills so that I can present quality work in the future (Imaniah, 2018). It will not only help me to achieve my short term goals but will
also help in achieving the long term goals as well. By focusing on this it will help me in the personal development which can benefit me
in the future. Through this I can easily evaluate my mistakes and also focus on making more improvements which can help me in
achieving the task n future in a given time frame and succeed in the future.
