Despite the high economic achievements that China has made over the past years, the country is still facing various social challenges. The most critical issue is overpopulation since it has massive effects on the country's economic level, education services, and the overall environment. Overpopulation in China is the key challenge to the existing economic development in China. There exist limited natural resources which barely help the excessively growing population. Developing the country's economy requires a huge quantity of adequate natural resources like land, water bodies, minerals like oil and coal in the industrial sector. However, these natural resources in the environment reduces when large population growth is reported in China. It brings about high expenditure on pension benefits and medical security. Therefore, Overpopulation in China has adverse effects on the improvement strategies of the citizens’ standards of living.

population. Developing the country's economy requires a huge quantity of adequate natural
resources like land, water bodies, minerals like oil and coal in the industrial sector However,
these natural resources in the environment reduces when large population growth is reported in
China .It brings about high expenditure on pension benefits and medical security (Lee, 2014)
Therefore, Overpopulation in China has adverse effects on the improvement strategies of the
citizens’ standards of living.
Overpopulating in China also brings about critical challenges in the improvement of educational
in China especially higher learning institutions. This challenge weakens china's ability to be part
of a competitive power in the international level. With the rapidly rising population in this
particular country, contemporary society requires more educators and advanced school facilities
like buildings, learning materials, and classroom tools (Pei, 2016) However, as a result of the
developing nature of this nation, the available funds needed to cater for education service
delivery are quite sufficient in China. Conversely, this effect prompts young children in various
parts of china's region to acquire minimal education services .Even in the cities centers of China,
where the education domain is a bit improved, the existing learning and teaching facilities are
still not well pleasant. It is evident that adequate and high-level education in the current era is the
