INTRODUCTION
Effective communication
refers to the process of
swapping plans, ideas, skills
and facts so that the motive or
objectives are achieved in the
most feasible manner.
MAIN BODY
Common challenges and
barriers to effective
communication
Physical obstacles :- This
means the physical gap
between the one who sends
and the one who receives.
Communication is much easier
when it's face-to-face (Sharma,
Jeong, and Park, 2018). In a
company , due to pandemic
there comes a huge physical
obstacle which are making
their employees feels irritating
due to some technical issues or
failures that are coming
between the sender and
receiver.
Emotional obstacle :- Good
communication requires a
good balance between
emotions but because of WFH
situation in Organisations , the
Attitude obstacle :- Each and
every person in an
organisation have different
attitude , some are extroverts
while the others are introvert
even some are ambivert too.
There are three issues that give
rise of issues of attitude
barriers like – ego , pride and
in considerated behaviour.
Perceptual obstacle :- In Brit-
tech having different opinions
is creating big mess and
obstacle to good
communication between
employees.
Interpersonal obstacles :-
Due to long Covid run, the
employees of Brit-tech are
feeling anxious about
contacting other and mostly of
them are feeling that they have
become introvert.
Strategies for overcoming
communicational
obstacles.
Terminating perceptual
obstacle :- To terminate
this obstacle, a company
should assign the work
to the best employee and
Change or update in rule :-
Organisations must set a rule
to make communicating a
necessary task so that
everyone in an organisation
communicates with each other
and help each other in their
assigned tasks or aims or
goals.
Importance of cultural
awareness.
This is all about realizing or
knowing that everyone has
different culture, religion,
caste, creed and colour which
simultaneously affects their
thoughts and opinions,
Cultural awareness is getting
to know that the culture can be
different to another person
culture, when a person try to
understand or learn a foreign
language or skills. This helps
the person in understanding
culture of different society.
This helps in competing the
cultural barrier that comes in
between. Creating guidelines
and policies regarding the
diversity is a good step to be
taken by an organisation` to
