Effective communication is a vital necessity at all levels of a project work. Though
tactical steps can be sufficient to point out the requirements of a project, experience in the
delivery of a project is demonstrated by developing a clear communication strategy which
has to involve stakeholders of the project. Clear communication is whereby there has to be a
logical flow of information across the different administrative levels in an organisation. For
example, in Quasar Communications Inc. (QCI) Enterprise the resistance of staff of the
anticipated change is an indication that the company has a poor communication plan which
could not have included all the project stakeholders before initiating the project. Effective
communication calls for hierarchical communication structure to allow for sufficient flow of
information across all the project stakeholders ("Strong Communications Strategy in a Large
Program of Work", 2018). Therefore, an effective communication plan highlights a variety of
steps before any tactical activity for specific projects being put in place.
Accordingly, Quasar Communications Inc. (QCI) Enterprise is supposed to develop a
good communication strategy so as to enhance its probability of success in its project. The
initial to ensuring effective communication QCI has to know that timely information is
paramount to attaining its objectives. Consequently, a good communication strategy it will
enable QCI to be in a better position of structuring as well as regulating its flow of
information. Thus, the swift flow of information eliminates uncertainties as well as
unnecessary churns in a project (Binder, (2016). An outstanding communication strategy
outlines its message, the communication channels, and the target audience to be addressed,
the required resources as well as the feedback approaches that shall be used in measuring the
results of the project progress. In the case of QCI, it has to establish its requirements by
reviewing its project’s objectives and goals. By establishing the requirements of its
stakeholders it will be in a better position to decide on what it should achieve with its

communication strategy. Certainly, this shall be attained through studying of the corporate
strategy to enable it to understand how its project fits with the corporate strategic objectives.
The more a project is informed regarding its project course together with all its stakeholders,
it will be in a better position to implement its strategy.
The project manager for QCI shall be required to undertake a communication audit to
assess the effectiveness as well as the dependability of the communication tools and
techniques in place. Therefore, so that to avert making assumptions, the project manager
should ask simple questions to evaluate whether the project has understood the project’s
goals and objectives, if the project is investing wisely in the communication to be in the
passion to realise the best results by making changes and if the communication channels and
approaches are effective in realizing and informing its target audience. Moreover, QCI
project should strive to determine who its customers are for the communication strategy as
well as the target audience (Binder, (2016). Once a communication has been perfumed the
project manager and the team should revise the target audience. Indeed, this help to develop a
strategic division scheme to classify its target audience in a proper manner in accordance with
the results of the survey. Lastly, the QCI project manager should then determine the best way
to reach out to its audience by defining the probable communication, techniques, tools, and
channels required for its target audience segments.
