COMMUNICATION PLAN
1. Introduction
Communication plan is being stated as a proper and important approach
that is being driven by policy and is extremely helpful for providing error free
and effective information and data related to a project. The respective
stakeholders of a project eventually obtain this particular kind of information for
the core purpose of delivering accurate information from accurate and efficient
channels of communication [6]. This following report provides a detailed analysis
of the current communication plan of CHD or County Health Department for
improvement of public health informatics. CHD made a strategy to integrate all
the information systems into one integrated information system so that it
becomes easier to communicate the major issues and details of project easily
and promptly.
2. Discussion
2.1 Assessing Current Project Communication Plan of CHD
Current communication plan of CHD is quite effective and efficient since it
is providing several significant advantages and characteristics, which the
integrated system of public health informatics will be providing to the entire
department [3]. This current communication plan of the project would be
eventually playing an important role for change management and thus an
efficient or effective strategy of communication is required for breaking down of
the resistance to change after integration of any type of confidential data or
information for patients into one and hence not using numerous information
systems. This type of communication plan even anticipates on kind of
information, which is to be shared with project team members so that they are
able to understand about importance and probable outcomes of the project. The
main purpose of this project is to simply the process of using various information
systems. Thus, changes are common for this purpose and should be endorsed
after following few steps [8]. This communication plan even comprises of
objectives and strategies of the project so that every stakeholder is able to
understand project goal and outcome efficiently. CHD is following a distinctive
collaborative procedure for engaging their stakeholders and also for managing
the project work without any kind of complexity. The project manager is able to
describe the various requirements to his stakeholders and hence it is highly
expected that the project will be successful.
