Date
Subject- investigating the errors in the textbook of communication and finding the
number of books required for the next semester
Introduction
I am Kelly book, Dean of the Communications department at Conestoga college. I have
found some problem with the textbook of communication. There is ambiguity regarding
the correct information in the book. The book needs to be considered again to check if it
can be used in the next semester. I do not have any relevant information so I want that
immediate action is taken on the issue and set up a student group to investigate the
issue (Santhitiwanich, Pasiphol & Tangdhanakanond, 2014). In addition to this, I want to
get appraised regarding the number of books required for the next semester.
Background
Dean of the Department of Communication of Conestoga college wants some
information regarding the textbook of communication. She also wants to know the
number of books required for the next semester. The bookstore manager has given her
the list of persons having relevant information. In addition to this, there are videos and
interview transcripts of three persons: Dave Black, Bookstore manager, Matt Hoan,
instructor, Effective writing strategies and Hector Mead, administrative assistant. Dave
Black and Hector Mead have some documents related to enrollment and registration ad
sales and inventory reports which they have submitted to Miss Kelly (Pérez & Pereira,
2016).
Methodology
I have looked into the issue. There are some errors in the textbook of communication. A
team of students is asked to investigate the issue from the outset. (Subramanyam,
