INTRODUCTION Communication is the procedure through which an idea, opinion, or information is exchanged within or outside the organisation in order to accomplish the pre determined goal or objective in an effective and efficient way (Al-Waqfi and Forstenlechner, 2014). In this study, it includes barriers of communication and identification of various ways to tackle those challenges in a better way. Barriers to communication There are some barriers which Holiday Inn came across within their business operation are as follows: Different language:Under this, it signifies that each geographical region has its own dialects or terminology which sometime act as a barriers for receiver in Holiday Inn. As a result, the conversation channel which span across the establishment get affected and generate several confusions or misconception. Different Culture:As Holiday Inn is an international hotel in which different culture of employees are employing and each of them has their own set ethics, values, norms, beliefs that restrict each personnel to interact with others (Madsen, 2016). Varies in expectation and perception:In regard of Holiday Inn, it contains huge group of skilled workforce who perceive the same things in a different manner which may give way to risediversified interpersonal ideas or views. Due to this, it hinder manager to make suitable decisions for the accomplishment of goal in an improved way. Therefore, the above explained challenges generates conflicts of interest within Holiday Inn that influence its productivity ratio in existing marketplace. Strategies for overcoming communicational barriers As per the preceding mentioned barriers hinder Holiday Inn working culture, there are various strategies which they can implies into their business operations are as follows: Eliminate differences in perceptions:In this, managers should be very careful while hiring individuals as they must ensure that whether the applicants has strong command over 1

Henceforth, these discussed ways enable Holiday Inn to obtain profit maximisation with an optimal utilisation of resources in an amended manner. Impact of cultural on communication and negotiations In an establishment, communication has an integral role as it assist them to promote the products or service to a wide range of population which help them to acquire best positioning within competing industry. So, one of the foremost influence which challenge negotiation and communication is cultural differences (Guta and Karolak, 2015). As these impact of culture on negotiation is classified into two i.e.intercultural and cross cultural. However, intercultural negotiation means negotiation take place within own culture whereas cross cultural refers to negotiation between two persons who belongs to different beliefs or culture. However, these differences effect negatively over Holiday Inn as they serve their functions across the globe. Some of the impact are as follows: Language:This phase is very similar in international negotiation as each country has their own prioritise language which may impose difficult to other party. Thus, to tackle with this, Holiday Inn's managers can hire skilled translators who can work as a mediator in order to remove ambiguities and can enhance the proficiency level (Rosenberg and et.al., 2017). Values:Eachorganisationhastheirmanagerialvaluesintermsofobjectivity, competitiveness and equality which might effect in agreement process between two parties. Thus, Holiday Inn can deeply investigate the contracting company's marketing strategies for building a better relationship and acquiring best positioning within present industry.
