INTRODUCTION
Community engagement is the involvement and participation of all the stakeholders that
leads of welfare of the community. It is the process of working in collaborative manner with the
special interest, geographic proximity, or similar situations that help to address the issues
affecting the well-being of those people affiliation (Campbell-Arvai and Lindquist, 2021). It is
effective way of ensuring that all the community members have access to social settings and
activities that contribute meaningfully to the activities. It is important to develop functional
capabilities that enable them to participate fully. The community practitioner focuses on taking
all the decisions in effective manner to provide them all the facilities. It is necessary to engage
the people in order to provide them effective solution of their problems. There is comparison in
two programmes and the approaches that are used by them in order to know about the best
practices. The approaches used in the programme are also mentioned in the report. The role
active consultation, effective communication, stakeholders’ participation, and inclusion can
make in community engagement is important part of this report. The use of social media
platforms helps to engage the community participants in effective manner and evaluation of
same is part of this report.
MAIN BODY
Difference between both projects
The project is related to providing food to the people who are unable to afford the same.
Covid-19 has impacted the living of people in harsh way and this is the reason they are unable to
get food to eat. The aim is to help the poor and needy people and provide them basic food and
fulfil their necessities. Quality food is provided to them so that the people are able to enhance the
life style of the people (Maher, 2019). They take local community initiatives that would help
them essential consumables to the individuals. They are provided quality food at affordable
process for development of the people. They take certain initiatives that help them to engage all
the people in community.
The Plunkett Foundation works with the purpose to help rural communities in the UK to
create and run community-owned businesses. They also work on the principle of community
engagement so that all the people het full support and help to carry on the work in proper
manner. They assist the community owned enterprise in UK. The community takes sustainable
