Major responsibilities:
- Deliver a series of inter-connected activities and events to
engage Casey's newly settling communities in the Growth Areas
using community development principles and strategies.
- Create a better community connectedness, sense of place
and sense of ownership among community members so the
community feels safe within their neighbourhood.
- Planning and implementation of activities and events
with an aim to facilitate social connections among the newer
residents in the growth areas and create greater ‘sense of place’
- Develop effective partnerships with various internal
partners/ departments, neighbourhood houses, community
centres, community hubs, local schools, social networks and
service providers.
- Strategically evaluate programs and activities to identify
lessons learnt and find further opportunities to improve future
intervention strategies,
