Community Psychology is a new branch of psychology that focuses on how people relate to the
communities that they live in and how those communities effect on the individuals.
My professional goal is to be able to assist individuals with coping with and/or
overcoming psychological disorders that may hold them back from fully being productive and/or
the individual that they may want or aspire to be. Implementing a community program to help
address these psychological issues and assisting individuals with receiving counseling and
therapy at an affordable sliding fee or for free in the case they are unable to afford the sliding
scale fees. A major area of interest for me has always been within the correctional facilities
mainly with juvenile facilities, also implementing community programs in homeless shelters are
always effective in creating positive change in the community. My career goals focus on
implementing programs to assist the youth in effecting change in and on their community
because the youth is and will always be more impressionable and open to change and direction.

Footnotes
1[Add footnotes, if any, on their own page following references. For APA formatting
requirements, it’s easy to just type your own footnote references and notes. To format a footnote
reference, select the number and then, on the Home tab, in the Styles gallery, click Footnote
Reference. The body of a footnote, such as this example, uses the Normal text style. (Note: If
you delete this sample footnote, don’t forget to delete its in-text reference as well. That’s at the
end of the sample Heading 2 paragraph on the first page of body content in this template.)]
