1 Part A I have experienced that the aim of theHome Centre Services of Social Welfare Department of Hong Kongis to enhance the growth and progress of ethnic minority groups of the nation. New Home Association (NHA) aims to eradicate racial discriminations and support harmony among various ethnic groups in Hong Kong. Services such as education, computer literacy programs, volunteer services and skill development are offered by the center along with harmony programs and social service programs (nhahome.hk, 2019). I have come to know that this community center offers services to the ethnic minority groups of Hong Kong, Jordon and Ma Tei and the children of these groups are mostly financially underprivileged. The ethnic minority groups of Ma Tei and Jordan faces many problems because of cultural and religious beliefs. I have been impressed by the special education system of Hong Kong government. I have come to know that it focus on the growth of special capabilities in the children. It aims to develop the potentials of the children so that they become capable to achieve freedom and adjust in the community. The children those who suffer from several issues of ability are provided with special educational needs (SEN) while other children are offered normal facilities (Cheung & Chou, 2018). I have learnt that the schools appoints experts by taking the permission of the guradians and help the children with special needs. The education system focus mainly on the primary and pre-primary education of the children. I have also been impressed that children those who faces difficulties in learning practices can gain benefits from special education system. The system of special education also take care of thosechildrenwhofacesdifficultiesbecauseoftheirmentalconditionsandpersonal backgrounds.Thegovernmentensuresoverallgrowthofthecommunityalongwiththe availability of the children for the progress of the nations at both personal and social levels. Part B I have learnt that the children are from poor financial families and they does not have essential amenities for the procreation of their life. The families of the children cannot afford them the basic amenities which are essential for the growth of the children (Choiet al.,2015). I have got information that children can be helped by the Home Centre Services of Social Welfare Department of Hong Kong and special education system by Hong Kong government.
2 Home Centre Services helps in the growth and development of the kids. It also provides the ethnic minority groups with opportunities for better future by employing and developing them as responsible persons. Special education system of Hong Kong government focus on the growth of special capabilities in the children. It aims to develop the potentials of children so that they become capable to achieve freedom and adjust in the community.The children those who face several issues of ability are provided with special educational needs (SEN) while other children are offered normal facilities. I have learnt that the schools appoints experts by taking the permission of the guardians and help the children with special needs. The special education system also take care of those children who faces difficulties because of their mental conditions and personal backgrounds. The government ensures overall growth of the community along with the availability of the children for the progress of the nation at both personal and social levels. I have also learnt that the education system focus mainly on the primary and pre-primary and education of the children. The children with special capabilities could not catch the basic concepts like the normal children and so pictures can be utilized in Chinese techniques (Bhowmik, 2013).The vocabulary and picture matching games can also be utilized fir education of the children. The learning experiences can help me in my studies and future career. I can understand that education is an essential factor to survive in the community. Education can enhance the esteem of the individuals (Gao, 2016). Good education can change a life of a person and I can lead my own life without depending on other people. Education can also help me to get respect in the society and lead a prosperous life, get a job and become successful person in my life. It could also help me to earn reputation and grow in my career in future and achieve all my dreams. I can better understand myself through the group activities. Group activities helps to promote cooperation and friendliness among the team. It will help me in engaging with my team members and improve my relationship with one another on the team. It can also allow me to socialize with other people in team and in the society. It can also improve my communication skills by taking part in group activities.
3 Part C The course is helpful for other students in Hong Kong today as they can learn about ethnic minority groups of Hong Kong which also includes the children as well as their cultural factors and biological features. They can also come to know about the needs of the children of ethnic minority groups in Hong Kong in the present days (Law and Lee, 2016). The other students in Hong Kong can also help the ethnic minority groups of Hong Kong which also includes the children along with the support of Home Centre Services of Social Welfare Department of Hong Kong I will recommend it as General Education course to other students because it will help them to learn various skills by which every students can lead a dynamic life to becomean experienced citizen. It can also help them to learn about the ethnic groups of Hong Kong, Jordan and Ma Tei including the children (Refai, Haloub & Lever, 2018). So that they can think to help and support the ethnic groups of Hong Kong, Jordan and Ma Tei including the children in future financially and socially (Postiglione, 2017). If the other students take this course as General Education course, it can provide them learning opportunities and add value to their education.
