Introduction
The work done by one person or group of person or specific community to benefit
others are known as community service. It is done often into the nearby areas where the doer
resides and his or her own community harvests benefits of the work done. No one gets paid
for doing any sort of community service but food or tiny gifts such as t-shirt or chocolates are
given sometimes to the volunteers (Harp, Scherer and Allen, 2017.) The main aim of holding
community services are to help a community people in need, teach them something, and so
on. These kind of services are often organized via a group of localities in places like
nonprofit organization, school, and holy places of worship. Some students also require to
participate in community service programs and complete it as an integral part of education
(Bauer, Kniffin and Priest, 2015.) and Hedin, 20In this paper, a Christian community youth
program service will be discussed where the objective is to undergo a project of service and
mission. Many lessons will be learned that are important when students will be participating
in this mission work. This will help them to grow faith I themselves and at the same time help
others that is a very powerful lesson to be learned.
Discussion
The mission project will include different sort of activities for the volunteers to take
place. This will not only help the community but also the volunteers themselves (Roso,
2019.) The volunteers are required to assemble every Sunday after the prayer at school’s
church and perform their activities with respective teams. The activities to be performed are
discussed below:
“Operation Christmas Boxes”: A box will be prepared here containing Christmas
bells, balls, stars, a small Santa Claus doll, and umbrella sticks. The box will be
