INTRODUCTION
There are many different types of business issues that are faced by business
organisations. There is a need to make a detailed analysis of the by exploring of the various
business problems that are faced by the present Mc Graw education (Kalam and Pillai, 2020).
The report is based on the case study analysis and exploring of the business problems that are
faced by the company. Further there is discussion of the potential strategic solutions that are
supported by the academic research. It is going to assist McGraw hill in dealing with the
negative impact on the present business situations according to the changing external business
environment. The COVID situations has resulted into a negative impact on lot of different types
of businesses because of the reduction in the economic status of countries.
Section A : Summary of case study
The present case study is based on the case study of Mc graw hull that is global
organisation diversifying in many different types of activities that is engaging in the publication
of education materials. The headquarters of this company is present in New york cost and is
restructuring. Presently the issues that is faced by this company is related to restructuring
because of the divestiture of the McGraw hill units. In serpent situation Mc Graw is facing
several issues that is lack of growth that is major problems not able to generate adequate profits
and financial risk because of the prevailing situations of COVID is also a major issues as there
has been a reduction in the surprising power of people and they are only willing to focus on
necessity goods in the present scenario (McGraw-Hill Education, 2020).
McGraw hill is facing several challenges such as there is no proper data analytics, slow
response from data pipelines and higher abandonment levels that is the adaptive learning features
are failing to improve the overall student experiences (Berger Berge and Education, , 2018).
This is affecting the brand image of McGraw hill.

Mc Graw hill is global form that has able to successfully diversify into many areas of
activities by engaging in education materials. But with the internal and external analysis that is
occurring because of four strategic business units that is McGraw hill information & media,
McGraw hill education, McGraw hill financial & standard. McGraw hill is at the growth stage
according to the life cycle as they have been able to successful make adjustments and devise
