INTRODUCTION
Communication is an art of giving and sharing as well as receiving the information in
verbal, written, listening or through reading ways. Good communicators are the ones who listen
carefully, write or speak clearly and respect other opinions as well. It is the most significant
aspect within an organization in order to exchange any kind of ideas from the management side
to their employees (Lois and et.al., 2020). Any kind of changes whether structural, operational,
technological or strategic, the employees are highly required to become well aware about the
decisions taken by the management. This report will highlight the aspects of communicating with
employees about significant company changes. Apart from this the study will also discuss about
the concepts of personal feedback from the lecturer in detailed manner.

Notes: It is the most significant aspect within an organization in order to exchange any kind of
ideas from the management side to their employees (Kotarba, 2018). Any kind of changes
whether structural, operational, technological or strategic, the employees are highly required to
become well aware about the decisions taken by the management.
Notes: Most of the changes are helps to generate a sense of unease because it pushes employees
out of their comfortable and familiar zone to step into the new and explored territory. But if the
changes have been properly communicated among the departments, then it might be possible up
to some extent that changes have become exiting and more easy to adopt (Stamolampros and
et.al., 2019). It is all in the way one gets the message across utilizing communication channels.
Communicate the reasons in openly and honest manner: A simple, direct and straight
forward approach has been highly valuable and quells any suspicion related to any kind
of issues (Tassinari and Maccarrone, 2020). The leaders are solely responsible to share
the appropriate information among employees and they must ensure they are going on the
right track when employees understand about the changes that are going too made.

announcements should come to all employees from the CEO and then flow all across the
firm in frank and two way team discussions with managers, directors and supervisors
(Kremer, Villamor and Aguinis, 2019). The employees believe their leaders when they
did accurate job in order to inform them about changes and believe that their supervisor is
an active supporter of changes that affect their teams.
Explaining in advance about the effects that are going to be faced after adoption of
changes: Most of the employees are highly anxious about the future and understand that
there will be an emotional component to their reaction towards changes. Providing all the
news whether it is good or bad help those to make their mind prepared in advance
(Björkdahl, 2020).
2. Personal feedback from the lecturer
a) As the feedback given from my tutor’s side, I have evaluated that initially I had presented
some background information over the topic that I was going to present in front of
everybody. The presentation was about the communicating with employees for sharing
significant company changes. I had to represent a 10 minute presentation in front of
everybody through which I was appropriately able to explain all of my points related to
the topic that helps to elaborate the subject in detailed manner. I felt that my presentation
went very well, although there were obvious mistakes but these will be definitely
rectified as time passes and will gain more practice by doing more presentations in the
future terms (Ettinger, Grabner-Kräuter and Terlutter, 2018). One thing over which I
appreciated a lot was my usage of graphics and good images that attracts the attention of
almost all students as well as my tutors.
b) Improvements that are required to be made in my presentation are that I felt somewhat
nervous while presenting the topic in front of everyone during initial times. I was lack
behind sometimes in order to make eye contact with the audience. Although after
sometime, I was started feeling more calm and confident that let my gaze drift over the

that was been noticed by my tutors are that I made my presentation by utilising certain
techniques or tools such as laser pointer while describing something about the facts and
topics which helps the audience to get connected in more suitable manner with the
appearance over the topic. I have to represent my speech in free manner. As I was
conscious in early stage, I was unable to speak clearly at initial of my presentation and
my expressions are clear enough to show my consciousness and stress of representing
myself in front of a lot of students as well as my tutors (Cornelissen, 2020). But slowly
and gradually I grabbed by confidence level again and speak in front of everybody.
Hence, I felt that from next time onwards I will memorize at least the beginning and the
end of the presentation as my eye contacts was highly crucial at that certain point of time.
