Leaders are one of the essential elements of society. They work as the role model for the
society and gives inspiration to many of the people. Their life, and their success have become
good learning lessons for everybody. The following project will show the success story of two
contemporary leadership
TASK 1
Contemporary leaders are those which arise in the same present. The two most successful
leaders who have changed the definition of success and style has been discussed below.
Jeff Bezos, Amazon: this name is very famous in the world of internet commerce. Jeff Bezos
has giving totally different meaning to internet commerce. Jeff Bezos is the founder, chairman
and CEO of the famous online shopping portal that is Amazon.com. He has introduced the world
of online shopping to people who can shop their product by just sitting at home. He was the
person who introduced concept of predictive analytic in the online market world. The person has
started its company in just a car garage with little bit of technology and knowledge sooner he
began to develop such small entrepreneur into big company and raised as a good contemporary
leader. Jeff has given a totally different meaqning to trading and commerce. He understood the
need of a person and changes to be brought in commerce to sustain in the competitive
development. Such strategies made him to bring the concept of E-commerce for the benefit of
people so that they could avail anything by just sitting at home.
Howard Schultz, Starbucks: while Jeff Bezos has gained name in the world of E- commerce in
the same manner Howard is the big billionaire of coffee world. He is the Ceo of a very famous
coffee shop that is Starbucks. Earlier this person was just a sales person in a company but later
he has arise as a good lead of coffee shop world. It is because of his dedication that Starbucks
has been built at every corner of the country. It is known as one of leading coffee chains. Earlier
Howard was just appointed as director manager of the company but soon he took over the
company and became the CEO. It is because of his dedication towards the work that he is
accounted as one of the famous Contemporary leader in today s world. With so much turnover of
the businees by coffee making Howard is also the stake holder at Jamba Juice.he has also shared
his story of success by writing various books on Starbucks. The main reason behind the success
of Howard is that he first of all understood the concept of coffee and people look for in coffee.

And with the need he maintained the changes which brought a great success to him.(Hollander,
and Julian, 1969.)
CONCLUSION
It shall be concluded from the project that both the person has arises as good leaders of present
time. Where on the one hand one has changed the meaning of E-commerce, another had brought
the best coffee services to the world.
