2COMPARISON OF CLOUD-BASED IOT SERVICES
1. Response to Feedback Comments
According to Baker et al. (2017), the devices of Internet of Things (IoT) provides for big data sources
in huge chunks via numerous nodes that are interconnected and that have to be stored for presenting them
in an easy readable form. Hence, cloud-computing services enables the IoT devices to store virtually the
infrastructure by integrating the storage devices and analytical tools and hence deliver clients with optimal
solutions. Araujo et al. (2019), states that the numerous efficient services provided by the cloud based
platforms contributes to the smooth functionality of the IoT devices that provides for the framework of
smart cities, a new age phenomenon across the world.
2. Introduction
The IoT environment is a combination of various smart devices and components that forms a
diverse ecosystem along with the servers and network to contribute to the flexibility of human lives. Now,
these IoT infrastructures comprises of another major component, the cloud solution that helps the
enterprises to enhance their technological operations, reduce costs by providing virtual platforms and
eventually get rid of the in-house architecture for storing data as well as running applications. The cloud-
based services provided by the IoT devices offers for various benefits such as scalability of operations,
security of data and systems, managing data and generating real-time solutions.
