Introduction:
 The present-day computer technology has turned out to be a
significant part of people’s lives.
 This has become a mandate in various fields of works.
 This has seemed that there are constant technological changes
and developments with the ultimate aim to make particular tasks
rely on the use of computers.

Understanding peripheral devices:
 Peripheral devices incorporate
functionalities to computers. These are
never the part of the primary group p
components like power supply,
motherboard and CPU.
 Though they are never directly involved
with the main functions of computers, this
never indicates that they are needed
elements. Another method to think about
peripheral devices is that they have been
working as standalone devices.
 This is only tasked as they are connected
to and controlled through the computers
(Jones et al. 2018).

Kinds of peripheral devices:
These are categorized as the input and output
devices and some of them has been functioning as
both.
 Internal peripheral devices:
 Some of the common peripheral devices to be
found in the computers include hard drives,
video cards and optical disc drives. Here, the
disc drives one example of the invention are the
input and output devices (Caspo, Wersényi and
Jeon 2016). This is used by computers to read
information that is stored to the disc. Examples
of these include movies, music and software.
However, they can also be used to export data
from computers to discs such as burning DVDs.
