This study investigates the bearing strength, failure mode, and failure load of glass fiber-epoxy composite leaf springs with four circular holes subjected to tensile force. The study is conducted experimentally and numerically using 3D FEM with assistance of LUSAS 13.6 finite element analysis program. The end distance to diameter (E/D) and width to diameter (W/D) ratios in the leaf spring were changed from 1 to 4 and 4 to 5 respectively. The study also covers the mechanical properties of glass-epoxy composite leaf spring and the production process. Keywords: Composite materials, composite leaf springs, failure analysis.
