Dear Miss Towson,
I am writing this letter to you to convey my interest in the computer support assistant in your
company as advertised on your website. I am a high school graduate and have with an experience
as a weekend greeter and day-program community worker where I had to surf the internet and
solve people’s queries using the computer. Although I have no experience as a computer support
assistant but I believe I have strong capabilities to work on the computer and solve people’s
queries. Hence, I think I am an eligible candidate for the require position in your company.
During my high school days, I was awarded the award for best attendance in the class and
appreciated for ability to explain things to people. I am a visionary and people focused with great
skills in people and that are an added reason for my strong chances to be working your company.
I have visual and mobility impairment but I have not let this ever come in my way of achieving
my dreams. I am a computer savvy and use assistive technology to aid me. I am expert in using
text to speech software and Zoomtext to assist me.
I have worked as a weekend greeter at the Aerospace Museum where my responsibilities
included communicating with people about the directions to the museum, its timings and such.
This experience has helped me to gain more knowledge about people, which I think is important
for a computer support assisting while solving customer’s queries and issues.
