This article discusses the importance of information sharing between local and federal government in solving criminal activities using innovative technology. It covers various methods of sharing information such as N-DEx, LEO system, R-DEx, RISS, and LInX. The article also emphasizes the need for sharing all criminal activities so that proper actions could be taken and this had become possible due to the advanced technology that has provided a way to exchange information in an efficient way.

Data is shared between local and federal government
Uncle Bob was a resident of California, but he did a crime in Miami by speeding up
the vehicle because of this reason uncle bob was arrested and handcuffed by the police
authorities. He returned back to his native country Florida, but the police officers were aware
about the crime that happened in California. The Miami police officers came to know about
all information through the Criminal Justice Information Services division that enables all the
criminal activities to every local and federal state agency (Cdn, 2017). It is possible due to the
presence of innovate technology in the market that have made information sharing an easy
task. There is a sharing agreement that is signed between countries that permit sharing and
exchange of all the legal agreement between parties (Koper, Lum & Willis, 2014). This is
done using N-DEx that allows states and cities to solve the criminal activities. There are many
such organisations like LEO system, NLETS that are used for information sharing. N-DEx
supports agencies to share all the criminal based information so that investigation could be
done easily and in an effective manner (Alenezi, Tarhini & Masa'deh, 2015). It helps in
detecting all the crimes that are done by people at a particular location by focusing on all the
law enforcement agencies.
The information can also be shared with LEO system that is a national interactive
computer communication system to share information between law enforcement
communities. The other method for sharing the information is R-DEx that helps in retrieving
all the documents that permit department of justice to search the crime related data of a
particular person (Provine, Varsanyi, Lewis & Decker, 2016). The third method that could be
used for sharing the information between local and federal system is RISS, regional
information sharing system. That helps in identifying the criminal activities by exchanging
information between and in the international boundaries. It supports the agencies to
coordinate with the police agencies and strict punishment could be given to the criminal

(Lehman, et. al, 2014). The fourth method that could be used is LInX was launched by
Criminal Investigative Service so that the criminal data could be accessed easily by the legal
authorities.
Uncle Bob was charged for driving fast that is by breaking the traffic rules. Every
country has their own rules and regulations that need to followed. As, he broke the rules the
police agency shared all the information through various organisations that allow a country to
share the information regarding the crime (Figliola & Fischer, 2015). They share the exact
location, time, type and reason of crime so that the actions could be taken accordingly. In
some case the video proof is also sent along with the report so that there is strong evidence.
It can be concluded that it is important to share all the criminal activities so that
proper actions could be taken and this had become possible due to the advanced technology
that has provided a way to exchange information in an efficient way. Sharing of information
has become easy and can be shared within seconds with strong evidence and exact data.
