INTRODUCTIONChange management is a cooperative method for each and every tactic used by anorganisation in order to prepare, support and assist people, teams and organisations in makingorganisational change (Esfahbodi and et.al., 2017). The present case study is based on a Frenchcar part manufacturer, Composants Perfectionnes having several plants in France, Spain and UK.The case study is related to change management in the organisation to increase production of theproducts for competing in the market.1. Concept of Change managementManaging change is an organised approach used for dealing with the transformation ortransition of an organisation’s objectives, technologies or processes. The motive behindmanaging change is to imply strategies for incorporating as well as controlling changes. Changemanagement refers to implement strategies for effecting change, controlling change. In order tobe effective, the change management process requires to consider how a replacement oradjustment will affect employees, systems and processes within an organisation.In context to Composants Perfectionnes, change management is very much necessary asthe new strategy of the organisation is focused on increasing production with the use of newtechnologies in the manufacturing process. In this case the manufacturing organisation needs toimplement Engineering change management as the team of product development engineers playsa major role in Composants Perfectionnes to manufacturing car parts and maintain the quality ofthe production. Along with it manufacturing change process can assist in maximising thecapabilities of the technology, tools and available labour(Chan, Ngai and Moon, 2017).According to the ADKAR model founded by Jeff Hiatt there are five essential steps which canapplied in the Composants Perfectionnes. –Awareness of the need for change, as Composants Perfectionnes is facing toughcompetition in the industry and due to closure of the UK plants it needs to increase itsproductivity with the use of technologies.Need to involve in the change management processGaining Knowledge of manging changeCapability to imply behaviours and change altogetherStrengthening to sustain change1
