Introduction
In general terms, worldview is the perception of individuals towards the world.
Researchers have been studying various disciplines have been trying to study the concept of
worldview, for example- philosophy, anthropology, education, etc. It is an established fact that
people have their different views regarding different things in the world. It is the result of one’s
belief, upbringing and mindset. To define simply, worldview is one’s idea of reality and
perception towards different things. These views are significantly impacted by various
associations in our lives such as peers, family, religion etc. Each individual has his/her own
unique perspective towards this concept. It is also believed that worldview is supposed to
change and will change from time to time. Religion and science are the two factors that have
influenced the worldviews. Science teaches us that the solar system consists of different planets
and it explains that the earth has limited resources which are likely to exhaust over time.
Furthermore, it is our belief that helps us determine what we think can be true. The possibility of
our thoughts, influences what we allow to happen in our lives. Every person has his/her own
worldview regarding different things. This is mostly because they have had a different set of
beliefs, values and morals taught to them
Concept of Worldview
The worldview is at the center of all thinking systems. The life experience we had shapes
our worldview. Every moment and every second of life contributes to the worldview. It is often
said that worldview and religion are related. The major difference between the worldview and
the religion is that all the religions can be categorized as worldviews but all worldviews cannot
be categorized as a religion. Like the name suggests, an organized worldwide is a formed by
various beliefs and morals and the sources that are organized in nature (Eaude, 2011). For
