affected. After getting repeated complaints from the family members of the residents, the
management denied to acknowledge the situation. It is true that inactive participation of the
management, the expectation, aspiration and hopes are limited.

such kind of behavior in Aras Attracta has been shown. However, in almost 59 minutes of RTE
investigation video, a different side of the staffs have been shown, where the staffs were taking
good care of the residents. It has become a continuous process from last few years and from the
top of the management is involved in the entire practices on residents. The family members of
the residents were not aware of such situations in the care home.

Due to lack of basis privacy and dignity, large numbers of people with intellectual
disability face such torture. Lack of real commitment from the staff members, psychological as
well as physical torture have been done from decades in this institution. Although, improving the
service standards, different initiatives have been introduced by the government, but only 1.2%
standards have been maintained. Political situation as well as lack of initiatives from the
management can bring drastic situation in the near future. Negative environmental impact on the
care home can also increase the health concern, which can influence the conflict in vulnerable
way.
Analysis
By engaging residents in the daily activities and playing staffs sometimes try to develop
independency of individuals. However, kicking, biting and abusive behavior from the staffs
cannot be acceptable. Changing behavioral perspectives and the rule structure of a conflict can
be highlighted. The fundamental human right has become the major concern in Aras Attracta5.
