MANAGEMENT 1
1) Most of the enterprises are sharing methods that consider the member interest in
decision making. Considering a team, conflict should be an advantage in the
procedure of building programs nor decision (Daim et al, 2012). Many of these
conflicts are resources, administrative, schedules, cost and accountabilities.
Considering these issues, the project manager might only elaborate rather than
focusing on conflict but if the manager goes towards confronting the conflicts, the
adoption of avoidance, defusion and confrontation can be proved to be as effective
tools.
I have been working in a very competitive business firm whereby all struggles to
make necessary achievements in relation to promotional objectives. There is a conflict
arose between my colleague and boss concerning project proposals. The manager
believes that he is the only individual who can resolve the issues resulting from the
recommendations. However, some of employer are more experienced and
knowledgeable in that particular domain and thus they do not accept the orders given
to him by the manager. Hence, he has to avoid the boss. Conflict occurs among them
and as per the situation, employer was right. On the other hand, manager also cannot
lower his ego and thus employer uses diffusion to handle the mistreatment he received
from the manager. In addition to this, employer also avoids a heated confrontation by
asking question to the manager about his behaviour that bothers him. The objective of
this is to get a better understanding engages in a particular behaviour.
2) I agree with the privacy advocates who claim that Facebook should offer means for
users to opt out of mobile ad targeting. Advertisement on sites of social media track
user and individual activity and then use that data to sell them things (Kietzmann et al,
2011). Moreover, it also impacts what a user is attempting to do on the website and
make them distract from their original purpose. There should be opportunity in hands
of users to decide who cannot or can use their data.
On second thought, marketing done via social networking sites propose a better way
for the organisations to communicate with their consumers as a substitute for
spending lots of money on other media and advertising. Facebook also build up a
connect feature where user can log on to multiple other sites and use applications with
the help of Facebook log-in and sharing of respective credentials (Beltran, 2016).
With the help of this, Facebook target ads based on that data. Since I already did the
same and now see advertisement on Facebook for Puma or different sporting brands.

Hence, I do believe that users should be allowed to opt out of the mobile ad based
targeting as it is considered to be an invasion in privacy.
3) For organisation sustainability, annual objectives play a vital role. It is known as a
platform where guidelines are established against annual performance goals and
measures. In every calendar years, the objective for a business firm needs to be
reviewed by managers so as to logically strategize the long-term business objectives.
These objectives should be an aim against employee and stakeholders’ value. Some of
the significant characteristics of these objectives include measurable, clear
communication, and compatible with staff value system. This also enables the
employees to invest in the business and follow firm objective for success.”
In order to employ annual objectives, business firm is required to form policies.
Policies are considered to be key to fully implement strategies to attain organisation
success. They also are defined as rules, guidelines, and administrative practices that
help the business firm in their stated goal. Policies need to be communicated to every
employee with the help of leadership enforcement (Hu et al, 2012). Policies may be
associated with position guidelines, work processes, safety compliances, expectations
and behaviours and many more. These internal controls enable the firm to move
towards their annual objectives. In order to attain annual objectives, policies need to
be assessed and implemented with full efficacy.
4) Business Analytics is related to exploration of predictive models, data and application
of optimization techniques to statistical analysis (Wang et al, 2016). It can also be
explained in another term i.e. dealings of business with information science. The
result of analysis is moved towards customers, business managers and shareholders
allowing them to carry out their activities effectively. As it offers compressive
benefits, many organisations have applied this in their business. The benefit of
business analytics contains – faster decision making as of future predictions, better
ways to manage the funds while saving various expenses and leveraging resilience in
organisation process (Daniel, 2015). Usage of business analytics also helps the
company to achieve competitive advantage in the industry. It helps the business firms
to streamline operations and enhance processes. In addition, it encourages an
organisation culture of teamwork and efficiency where employees are able to express
their insights in the decision-making process. It provides organisation and
