Consider the patient situationWhat current information do you have on this pt?What new information have you gathered? We have Mr. Wellington, admitted in room 35. He is 70 years old and Asthmatic. He was admitted yesterday under critical conditions and he is under Dr. Smile. He has had positive progress but his BP has dropped dramatically in which he needed 3 fluid challenges of 500 ml each. He has a wife and 3 daughters and two sons. One daughter and one son are Asthmatic.Collect Cues/InformationWhat further cues and information would be useful? Why?The patient’s body temperature is 38.5. I have also checked his respiratory Rate at 23 and 75% O2 saturation level. His blood Pressure is at 100/50 and he has been using Albuterol Inhaler to manage the condition [ CITATION Hof09 \l 1033 ].Process InformationWhat changes do you notice in the cues and information provided?Which changesare significant for this patientand why? What do you think these changes could indicate and why? What could be the outcome of these changes? The patient’s BP is low below the recommended standard. The patient’s temperature is slightly higher therefore his room conditions are being regulated. However the two only worrying situations is his BP and Oxygen saturation rate. The patient needs oxygen booster and some few fluid challenges to boost his BP.His conditions indicate allergic reactions to specific conditions that stimulate the Asthma.Identify Problems/issuesGiven the facts that you have available andcomparing those to what you think the changes could indicate/identify one potential patient problem/issue.Mr Wellington’s Asthmatic stimulation is resulting from a allergic stimulations and setting a clean environment is fundamental. This could also be controlled by establishing causes or triggers of his Asthmatic condtions.
