INTRODUCTION
Construction Information implies documentation that Architect needs to enable Architect
to design and produce plans to property owner, including, without restriction, the finishing
specifications of the property owner, mechanical modules, electric loads as well as sites,
furniture designs, and particular lighting and usage requirements, where appropriate.
Construction projects invariably produce massive and complicated information sets (Ebrahim,
Mosly and Abed-Elhafez, 2016). That is an essential managerial job to handle this mass of
knowledge efficiently and ensure its quality and accuracy. Weak or insufficient details may
cause project setbacks, inefficient decisions or even complete failure of the required facility. The
study covers various aspects of construction information like site plan, floor plan, sections,
elevations, Door and window schedules, working schedule etc. in relation to construction of 5
storey-framed building.
MAIN BODY
Building contractors and project supervisors are acquainted with designing and delivering
sets of building works. A construction information package, acts as a strategy for managers to
ensure that the design or development of a particular project is well prepared. The more a CIP is
planned, the greater chance of a client approving and running the project. A CWP includes a
comprehensive overview of construction project, in consideration of scope, intent and
completion measures. The package contains a budget which meets the business or customer's
budgetary constraints and a planned program which involves hired machines, equipment and
subcontracted assistance (Choe and Leite, 2017). When CWP is for project with an approximate
price still to be provided, it is important to provide proposed price levels for the leased
equipment or other services. Here the study is mainly focused upon construction of 5 storey-
framed building which require a wide range of construction information. In this regard following
are some points which are main aspects of respective project, as follows:
Site Plan:
A site plan implies to diagram showing a property 's structure, or "location." A site-plan
can involve where buildings and infrastructure are located. And also amenities of property like
parking lots, walkways, paved areas , parks, pools or lakes, trees, verandas, etc. site plans act
as an important aspect of real estate campaigns to present the entire property with key exterior

amenities. Site plans provide prospective homebuyers with an understanding of the estate's
layout, scale and inclination, better than photographs do. Along with layout of property together
with floor plan of construction project also makes it much simpler to understand how home's
interior corresponds to its setting (Chen and Lu, 2019).
Floor Plan:
The floor plan depicts a whole building, or floor-space. This may also involve
dimensions, furniture , appliances or other thing that is appropriate for the plan's function. Floor
plan is useful in helping build layout of furniture, cabling structures, and more. This is also a
worthwhile technique in assisting real estate operatives and leasing corporations sell or lease a
space. Floor-plans are incredibly important in the designing and construction of a building.
Through establishing a pleasant flow between rooms, a better floor plan will improve the
comfort of home and may even improve its resale price (Olawumi and Chan, 2019).

Elevations:
Elevations display a building's front, back, and sides, because they would exist
superimposed on building project. Analysing drawing of elevations gives architects a working
thought of structure 's appearance and design. The pics underneath demonstrate building
elevations. Remember that this building's wall surfaces should comprise of brick
and construction shingles supporting roof. The upper surface of rafter plate is around 8 feet 2 1/4
inches higher than the point of finished first floor, and tops of finished windows and doors
openings are 7 feet higher than same level. Of each 12 inches long, the roof would be a
cantilevered roof with four inches of increase. -- window seen in elevations are marked
by capital letter accompanying window schedule (Shepherd, 2019).

Section/Details:
Sections contain essential details regarding structure's height, dimensions, fastening and
supporting structures, and hidden features. Cutting base plane doesn't always stay constant, just
like with horizontal-cutting plane might well be gob-smacked to involve as quite enough
information as feasible on building projects. Sectional projections represent vertical
representations as with elevations. These are often large-scale, information sketches. This helps
in having read, and includes data that could not be provided about views of elevation. Sections
are parts Usually graded and descriptive (Cheung, Lin and Lin, 2018).

Details represent large-scale drawings which display structure's developers how to link
and position its different parts. Although specifics don't use the symbol of cutting plane, these
are closely connected to parts. Visual sketches of buildings typically display doors, windows,
including eaves being built. Typical descriptions of the doors and windows are shown below .
detailed diagrams are utilized if the information supplied in elevations, maps, and parts is not
specific enough on job for the architects. Generally such sketches are clustered so that
comparisons from general drawing can be conveniently made (Nomura and Fukano, Komatsu,
2018).
