1.0 Introduction
This project is based on the observation and analysis of an ongoing construction in
Sydney. The chosen construction project is Pavilions by Mirvac that is currently under work in
Sydney, NSW, Australia. In this project, a series of luxurious apartments are currently under
construction and is expected to be completed within next year. The apartments are mainly for the
high end customers who spend heavily for their homes. The location is in a very favorable place
and very near to all the stadiums of Sydney including the Sydney Cricket and Rugby grounds.
2.0 Site Observations
At the site, it has been observed that 60% of the construction work has been completed
and is currently under fast progress so that it completed with the next six months. In addition, the
following have been observed at the site.
Construction Work – It has been observed that the construction work is under moderate
progress and four floors of each apartment have been completed. Work is under progress for the
remaining floors and the frameworks for those floors are complete. The plastering works of those
floors are currently underway.
Machineries – At the site, it has been observed that construction machineries are working
at a remarkable pace in order to complete the construction works within the scheduled timeline.
The working of these machineries has been extremely significant for building the apartment
especially the higher floors.

Workers – At the construction site, it has been observed that the workers are extremely
efficient in performing their duties in the construction work. With some small talks with the
workers, it has been found that the workers are extremely enthusiastic about the project and are
giving their best to get their work done within the specified timeline provided to complete the
project work.

4.0 Project Details and Overview
The entire project is based on the construction of a series of luxurious apartments for the
aristocratic populations of Sydney are also looking to enjoy wonderful view of the city as well as
stay at a very convenient location of the city. The overall project consists of building 7
residential towers and 4 small entertainment and community buildings. Of the 7 towers, the
highest tower will be 22 storey’s high and the residents at the high floors of the building will
enjoy the views of three main stadiums of Sydney – Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney Football
Ground and Sydney Rugby Ground. The entire project is handled by 550 workers and 16 team
leaders who are leading the workers to complete the entire project efficiently and within a

6.0 Conclusion
In this report, an overall observation result has been provided on the ongoing construction
work of the Pavilions Project, Sydney. As per the observations, the project is right on track in
terms of schedule as well as budget. If there are no unforeseen accidents or budget constraints
occurring and the works are executed at this project, it can be ensured that the project will be
completed within September 2018. After the construction works are finished and the apartments
are ready, the sales for the rooms will start and the booking schemes will be made for the
purchase of the rooms by the customers.
