INTRODUCTIONConstruction technology is one of the main part in civil engineering. It involves study ofvarious construction methods, materials etc. it affects the overall design, maintainability, construction and overall plan of the building(Ahvenniem and et.al, 2017). This assignment willlay emphasis on the report of implementation and design of a Hotel building complex near amotorway. It will also explain the following questions in brief such as: difference betweenresidential, commercial and industrial building, different ways' sustainability can be promoted inthe building projects. Further different types of foundations with their suitability with differenttypes of structures, impact of site information on foundation design will be discussed. Then typesof information collected on the construction site, different types of structural frames used tocarry out primary and secondary elements of the superstructures, will be included.Furthermore, techniques that are used for re-mediating the site prior to constructioncommencing, types of substructure works that are required for the infrastructures will be done. Then identification of superstructures, substructures and civil engineering structures necessaryfor the hotel building construction project, discussed. Then about various types of supplyarrangements for all the primary services, distribution arrangements for all primary services, elements of superstructures used to facilitate primary services and distribution of the primaryservices impact on the overall design of the building. With the help of all the above points theirreport will clearly explain and identify different types of structures used in construction of ahotel building with different ways to achieve sustainability of the hotel building projectconstruction near motorway, so that all the basic requirements of the hotel building are fulfilled. The main objective of this report is to provide all the required information for the construction ofa Hotel building near a motorway.TASK 11.1 Difference between residential, commercial and industrial buildingsResidential Building:These type of buildings are either duplexes, single family houses, condominiums, orapartments which are used by people to live in.Basic requirements of residential buildings are: bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms etc. forsimple houses or multifamily structures.
