A pinhole camera is a bit against “innovation”. This is very unusual for GALEX. However, it
does use some similar standards. Sometimes it’s fun to go back to basics and create several thing
through our hands which we can realize as well as usage with imagination.
The Southern Pinwheel Galaxy, or M83, appeared in bright light in this image. NASA's Galaxy
Evolution Explorer (GALEX) rocket took this image of the M83 between March 15 and May 20,
for a full start-up season of 3 hours and 42 minutes. In fact, this is one of the “deepest” or longest
introductory picture of a near world ever taken in full light.
Several GALEX photos show hours of a few hours. GALEX not only “sees” the unrecognizable
