INTRODUCTION
Skills development is crucial aspects of an individual learning wherein she/he will be
able to use these acquired skills and knowledge in the professional career goals. An individual
possess effective skills and competencies, he/she is able to confidently express in both personal
and professional lives. Skill and knowledge pertaining to the realm of interest helped to acquire
future career goal and develop all the relevant competencies. For the job position of Social
worker, individual must poses the of soft and technical skills. By the end of this project, wherein
different topics are being covered by the learning including skill developed, learnings from the
projects, confidence level, how these the learnings acquired helps to accomplish future career
goals, identify the skill gap and how to fill these skill gap by preparing career action plan (Barry
and et.al.,2018).
TASK 1
Skills developed or enhanced by the end of the project
In order to accomplish my future career goals for the job role of Social worker, I need to
focus on developing my different set of skills and knowledge including teamwork, orientation
skills, sociable, responsible. These soft skills play an important role which will help me to
determine that how actually jo is executed and the rough idea wherein I need to possess these set
for the job role of Social worker. These are discussed below in brief:
Teamwork: Teamwork is important to achieve group goals. For being a social worker in the
future, I need to have effective team working skills in order to execute work assigned. Team
work is necessarily to achieve the quality and efficient work (Busso and et.al.,2017 ).
Responsible: While doing any business activity, it is important that an individual is responsible
for the work, wherein an individual should practice different activities with transparency and as
per the working standards.
Sociable: As I want to be a social worker, thus it is important for me ascertain social skills which
involves being empathic, with the help of the learning from my project I was able to develop my
social skills which involves addressing the concerns and issues faced by the team member and
delivering them favourable solutions.

Orientation capacity: Orientation skills is determined why adopting and adapting to the
changes of the external environment challenges, as being a team leader I was able to make
necessary changes and developments to different shortcoming in the project work.
Learnings from the project
The learning that I developed with the help pf the project is discussed below:
Communication: Communication is an important tool that contributes towards delivering the
objectives to different individual. The success of any business depends upon the effectiveness of
the communication, wherein effective communication helps in accomplishment pf the business
objectives. With the help of project, I was able to improve my communication skills which heled
me to build strong relationship with my team members and communicating the objectives of the
project task (Kopzhassarova and et.al.,2016).
Cost estimation: Cots estimation is the useful effective tool that helps to determine the cost
incurred in carry is objectives. With the help of this project I was able to improve my costing and
budgeting skills.
Responsibility: Being responsible for work that one does is an important tool, with the help of
the project I was able to do improve my learnings wherein I took different important project
decisions and shouldering the risk and accountability of the successful project work.
IT skills: With the increasing reliance over the internet platforms, it is important to develop the
IT skill and computer knowledge. By using different software, I was able to improve my
knowledge over latest technologies and their importance for accomplishment of a task
(Mehrabani and Mohamad, 2015).
How have you improved your confidence level?
The project helped me to improve my confidence level by:
Interaction: With the help of the project I was able to improve my confidence level by
interacting with my team member, as I was the team leader of the project thus which not only
helped me to develop my communication skills but I was able to improve my confidence.
Professional development training: The project provided the professional development
training, wherein an individual is groomed and delivered proper advanced training on different
