INTRODUCTION
Today's business environment is becoming more complex and competitive and that's why
it becomes essential for individual to focus on development of skills and knowledge. In order to
compete with the environment, an individual needs to develop skills with the help of learning
(Oliver and et.al., 2018). In addition to this, an individual should find out skills gaps so that they
can formulate an action plan in order to work on areas of improvement. This is very necessary to
enhance employability skills in order to get a reputable job and positions. Employability skills
helps an organisation to achieve their goals and overcome with the issues. This report has an
aims to development of skills after completing a project.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project?
The project was developing a new digital campaign for Regent College Group of Landon
as they are facing many problems such as increasing in number of competitors, unable to capture
the market, etc. For solving these problems, many meetings were conducted in which I got
chance to participate (Monalisa and et.al., 2019). We all are found that development of new
digital campaign is the solution as it assists to grasp the attention of students as well as make a
different position in the market. During that time, I found that it is important for me to develop
some skills and knowledge so that I gave my best in the meetings. After completing a project, I
analysed that there are many skills which I developed during that period and some areas of
improvement in which I have to work on them. I founds that it is very important for me to
understand the digital market as everyday the use of digital media is increasing. For survival in
the competitive market, it is necessary for employees that they should be become capable in
order to deal with the challenges of organisation. If they are not developing that type of skills
then they will reduce their opportunities of career.
I found some important skills which required for developing a digital marketing
campaign that are data analysis, content creation, SEO & SEM skill, CRM skill, communication
skill, social media, and basic design skills (Sousa and Rocha, 2019). In these skills, I developed
communication skill, SEO & SEM skill, and data analysis. These skill I developed after the
completion of project. There are some area or skill which I need to enhanced such as content

creation, CRM skill, basic design skill, and social media, etc. For example, I need to make
contacts with the students so that I will promote the brand position of company, this need an
effective CRM skills which helps in managing a good relationships with the customers. That's
why I need to work on this skill.
What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
In the starting of the project process, I already know about the communication skills. This
is very basic which is necessary in every field. But I didn't know about the need of SEO & SEM
skill. During the process, I found that SEO & SEM skill is very important for developing a
campaign as it assists to make a campaign more effective and which is able to achieve the goals
and objectives of Regent College. This can be better understand with the help of example. For
example, in order to start a development of marketing campaign, I need the data and information
that how a digital marketing campaign will be run effectively in the market (Whitt-Glover and
et.al., 2017). For that purpose, it is very important for that I have to know about SEO which is
the acronym of Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of improving the quality of website
which increase the traffic.
To what extent has your level of confidence improved?
After completing this project, I feel that it was very helpful for me as my level of
confidence is increase too much. I felt changes in my confidence. For example, when my school
teachers give any task of debate then I always denied due to low confidence. But after this
project my communication skills improved which increase my confidence (DONG, 2019). Now I
have a enough confidence that I will be talk with any stranger at any time. This is very important
for my career and in personal life. I give 7 out of 10 marks in confidence which I though that it is
a very good score.
How could you use your learning in your future career?
I learnt many things in the project as I learnt that how a project should be completed. It
provides me many skills and knowledge which assist me to make a bright career (El-Maghraby,
2021). I found some important skills and knowledge such as collaborative working, teamwork,
team management, project management, time management, etc. These skills is not just helpful in
completion of current project but also increase the career opportunities. Every day the diversity
is increasing in the company which shows that a person should be able to work with every

person. Due to this project, now I'm able to work with different kind of people. This will assists
in appointed in the reputed organisation as it improves my Curriculum Vitae. In addition to this, I
got to know about the development of new digital campaign which is very necessary for my
career in marketing (Marrington, O’Shea and Burton, 2019). In today's marketing field, every
organisation wants to develop new digital campaigns as it is very cost effective and able to cover
a mass area of population. That's why every organisation wants to recruit candidates who are
expert in digital marketing. This project helps me in this field which leads in better career
opportunities.
TASK 2
Propose a plan of action for filling these gaps/developing these areas
After evaluation of project, I found some skill gaps which need to be developed. Skill
gaps can be filled with the assistance of improving skills (Milla, Jufri and Soepriyanto, 2019).
This can be done with the help of making an action plan. So there is the action plan in order to
improve some areas of improvement:

It can be concluded from the above discussion that it is very important for an individual
that they should develop some employability skills which ensures the better career opportunities.
Everyday the use of digital marketing is increasing in the organisation and that's why it is very
important for individuals that they should know about the use and methods of digital martingale
so that they can participate in the decision making process. It is also analysed from this report
that there are many skills which should be developed by an individual so that they can achieve
their goals and objectives in an effective way. This report discussed the development of skills
and an action plan in order to improve the lack areas.
