INTRODUCTION
Digital marketing is defined as the performance of marketing operations through the use of
digital channels over the use of internet. Several of digital market in channels include social
media, search engines, websites, mobile apps, email marketing and many more. In simple words
digital marketing is defined as the essential manner through which several of business
organisations promote their products and services and improve its brand image. Below mention
report is based on the discussion of issues of challenges which have been faced by the
organisation while expanding the business operations in the new market. London school of
science and Technology (LSST) is the organisation which has been consider for this report. The
respective organisation is located in London, England, United Kingdom. This report include the
refractive portion on the basis of my skills and development while solving the problem of
business. Along with this it also deals with the skills gap areas which I require to develop within
myself. At the end of this report, it will show the effective CV and job description of digital
marketing as well.
TASK 1
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project?
During the project I have worked on the marketing activities as the respective organisation
i.e. London school of science and Technology is not getting affective results while expanding
their operations in a new market. I develop several skills with in me such as communication
skills, coordinating skills, effective campaign skills and many more. Through the use of my
communication skills, I communicate with the management and do research as well with the use
of primary and secondary source of research in order to analyse the market and the requirements
of customers. Coordinating skills within myself help me in properly coordinate with the entire
management and then make the decisions related to the performance of marketing activities.
Development of effective campaign skills can also be analysed within me as I have done of the
several marketing campaings for several digital marketing channels.
What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
Throw conducting the primary and secondary research, I get to know about the culture and
requirements of the people living in the new market. It has been found as necessary for the
educational institution to analyse the requirements of their target customers. At the starting of
