INTRODUCTION
Consulting is defined as the practices of providing the third person with the expertise knowledge
and involves the advisory or implementation of the any services. The practice consultants
provide leadership, guidance and training to others and also have required skills and
knowledge(Maree, 2018). The present report is based on the reflection various learning and skill
development that van also help in future career. The report also highlights development of skills
with the help of personal development plan.
MAIN BODY
Task-1
After performing the project with the team members, I have gained various effective skills in
a very short period of time. This has been possible because of proper dedication towards the
activities from every team member which has helped in identifying the skills. With the help of
this project I have realised my potential which became my strengths in successfully completing
our project effectively but on the other hand it also made me identified my weakness as well
which is necessary for me to improve in order to effectively achieve my future goals. The skills I
have acquired were communication skills, leadership skills, academic writing skills, marketing
skills, social media skills, critical thinking skills, decision making skills(Wikaningrum,.and
Yuniawan, 2018). In order to achieve my future goals and pursue my career at high position it is
necessary for me to have the skills and on the other hand it is necessary to have required
knowledge that is important in any organization. Furthermore, having these skills is very much
necessary in a job in order to get promotion in higher position in the company.
I realised that having effective skills is very necessary in order to overcome any
challenges that we can face. I observed that I lack various skills which are very important aspect
for achieving the goals of the career. I came to know that I lack effective communication skills as
that helps in interacting with different people in order to overcome the difficulties during the
project(Jagadheeswari, and et.al., 2019). Furthermore I am not effective writing skills and also
didn’t have enhanced social media skills. In addition to this, having in effective communication
skills I was not able to confidently taken the online meetings with other members. After working
in a team I came to know the importance to have knowledge and skills in order to carry out
effectively.

After carrying out the team work with the team members, I have understood the necessity
of having the respective skills I have achieved knowledge and skills in various areas and in order
to reach to that target it requires focus and concentration at the time of completing the team
project. In this way I gained expertise in those skills and gained knowledge from this program
which I can effectively apply in my future career(Indrilla, and Ciptaningrum, 2018). With the
help of this I gained confidence in my work and in my performance through the acquired skill
and knowledge .The confidence I gained has motivated me to learn different skills for better
career opportunities.
After the experience I has with the team members regarding the skills and knowledge that
is required in the career I tried to implement those skills in my work life. The skills and
knowledge gained can be applied and is helpful in any career I pursue. In the company it is
necessary to have effective communication skills in order to interact with the co-workers and
superiors(Warsah, and et.al., 2021). With the help of the communication skills helps in
development of the employees in the company as they can acquire more knowledge from other
people within the company. Furthermore not only effective communication but also leadership
skills is important as the leader has the ability to influence other people and encourage in order to
give their best performance and contribute in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
With the evolution of technology and increase in the scope of social media and with this an
individual should also have the required knowledge as the scope of online learning has increased
after the emergence of the corona virus. With the help of these skills and implementation of these
skills has helped me to gain and improved my career life and also helped me in personal as well
professional development.
TASK-2
In order to achieve my future goals and more job opportunities it is very important to have
required skill and knowledge. Apart from this the employees should have the ability to apply the
skills according the situations. This can only be achieved through proper development of the plan
.In order to achieve SMART goals should be set which can be effective way. Action plan all the
necessary information regarding the skills to be improved should be mentioned. The goals that
are to be improved are reading and writing skills, time management skills and presentation skills.
Time management skills is one of the effective skills which helps in effectively achieving the
task in a given time line. The performance of the employees has also increased as a result of

proper is implementation of the time management skills(Rani, and Sharma, 2018). I have
realised that I have to work on improving my time management skills in order to effectively
deliver my work in the company. On the other hand it is observed that reading and writing skills
increases the academic skills and reading books and articles will help in increasing the
knowledge of a person. All the skills are interconnected to each other also help in achieving the
career(Lee, and Liu, 2021). With the help of effective presentation skills one can present work
effectively to the stakeholders of the company by using different gestures correct information is
passed to the audience and they can easily understand the information being conveyed. So it is
important to have effective presentation skills which also help in increasing confidence.

required to have for achieving the career goals. The report includes the skills that is identified
while working in a team and various other skills which is important to have and improvements
by setting the SMART goals which helps in monitoring the improvements to be made within the
time period.
