training to its new joinees. It will help them in learning about the work that they have to perform
in the company. Training is given by experts in Toyota. It is very effective for organisation
because this makes easy for employees to learn about organisational culture. Different
development programs are launched by Toyota in order to make workers know about the new
technology and innovations. It helps in learning in a better way from experts rather than knowing
things on their own. Toyota falls under auto mobile industry in which adaptation of new
technology is necessary for growth of the company. Toyota responds to such things by
implementing the same in its new product launch. Effectiveness in work can be achieved by this
training and development programs. Whereas Pred (2017), says that if training is not provided in
an effective manner to its employees then they will not be able to learn about new technology
that has been adopted by Toyota. It will result in high losses to the organisation. As, a proper
trained employee can contribute more to the establishment. So effectiveness in working of
company will come by providing a proper training to their employees by experts. As per Mosse
(2018). Toyota has adopted the culture of continuous improvement which is necessary in an auto
mobile industry. Frequent technological changes make it compulsory for company to adopt
continuous learning. Employees can give more output if they learn every technological
transformation. Continuous improvement will increase the sales of the company and helps it in
achieving its goals and objectives. As, improvement on daily basis brings positive outcomes and
aims of the organisation can be achieved easily. But as per Roy, Paul and Mukhopadhyay (2018),
Continuous improvement is given in theoretical format to employees which increase their
knowledge but employees do not get positive practical knowledge from the same. Which may
give less productivity to the company. So for a positive outcome an establishment should give
practical knowledge rather than giving theoretical guidelines. It will result in overall growth if
employees as well as of organisation.
3. Areas for improvement in Toyota
Toyota should hire experts who can give training to employees about every innovation

about the existing process that organisation is following. It helps in learning in a better way from

As per Masalimova and Shaidullina (2017), Toyota has adopted culture of providing

which will result in improvement in growth and success of establishment. Training is the only
way by which a new joinees can learn the work of company (Rutland, 2018).
Toyota should operate its system in developing countries. As it will give an opportunity to
the company to increase its sales and revenues. Developing countries has large market for
automotive sector because they are not developed completely and are adopting innovative
products. This will give growth at worldwide level to the company. It also helps in increasing
living standard of people of developing countries. It is a kind of great motivation for such
nations and people who resides there in such countries.
Toyota's governance should be active in terms of following the latest technological
system in this competitive environment. Change in attitude of consumer and family priorities has
also a great impact on company (Trehan, Higgins and Jones, 2018). Many a time, family changes
their priority of buying things which affects business in great way. Decision of company to
establish administration in United Kingdom was one of the best decision of organisation. It
helped company in enjoying benefits of talented employees and a well-developed infrastructure.
It also resulted in entry of entity in one of the biggest market of the world. Due to workers and
their thought company has got so many ideas of manufacturing as per the taste and preference of
consumer. European customers have also got benefits from the same.
Company should also focus on manufacturing more electronic vehicles which are
environment friendly. Toyota deals in cars so it needs support from government for ozone-
friendly products (Sautman and Dreyer, 2017). It will help the establishment in grabbing
opportunity and improving its product in a way that it can satisfy expectations of environment.
Toyota is planning to divert its business by 2020 towards production of electric vehicles. Hybrid
cars has opened many opportunities for Toyota, people has started showing interest in Electronic
cars.
Toyota's management system should review the performance of the employees and their
overall efficiency. It will improve the productivity of company. Workers will be assigned task as
per their efficiency. If any employee has less working capabilities, then manager should make
notes on his performance and take necessary steps for improvement. It will result in employee
satisfaction as well as growth of the organisation.
Toyota should be more active towards corporate social responsibility. As every company
needs to take make environmental friendly products. This will be beneficial for public as well as

for the company (Schaltegger and Burritt, 2017). Toyota should follow Corporate social
responsibility so that establishment will not face problems like other companies. For example,
Volkswagen has faced emission scandal which resulted in huge loss to the organisation as well
as to the environment. So in order to avoid such scandals Company should be more focus
towards its polices made for Social responsibilities. Organisation should make donations and
charity. A separate department should be made to for the same, this will result in benefits to the
society as well as increase goodwill of the establishment. It will increase social image of the
company which will result in more investments by public. Indirectly this will help the
establishment in raising more funds from investors.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been summarized that every Organization has different
culture which means that they follow some or all other policies. Model of Handy culture has
been used by company so that team working can be adopted. In addition to this, PESTLE
analysis has been made to know the impact of external environment factors on the company.

technology in its working system so that company can achieve growth and objectives. By
