INTRODUCTION
Contemporary health & social care involves various kinds of diseases which can be
analysed in people including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney stone, heart problems
and so on. It involves present habits and lifestyle of people which include unhealthy eating,
regular intake of fast food, sitting jobs, lack of physical work, routine work out or exercise and
many more (Evans, 2016). The present report will focus on several relevant aspect of diabetes
including related factors which impacts on people regarding their healthcare. It will also
described about relevant information to reach public domain and sources of media along with
impact of various media coverage on attitudes, behaviour & thoughts. Moreover, it will
concentrate on different perspectives in specific issue and relevance of findings health & social
care practices applied at local level. The validity of public attitudes and behaviours related to
particular health problem is given below.

3.1 Different perspectives on specific issue
The diabetes can be controlled through effective medication and desired precautions in
order to spend comfortable lives. Firstly, it includes perspective of generating other relevant
health problems if diabetes will not controlled or prevented in appropriate manner. However, it
includes several health problems which may generate in people suffering from diabetes that
facilitate to create more complicated situations of an individual (Best, 2017). Moreover,
complicated medical condition of a person will results into long term medication procedure
which impacts negatively on health of patients and overall society. Secondly, it will impacts of
business of food and beverages which get avoided by people due to diabetes and other health
problems which effects the economy accordingly.
Thirdly, other different perspectives can be included such as national media, regulatory
bodies, practitioners and service users. Overall of these people put efforts on their level so that
issue of diabetes can be reduced in society. Government can make regulations for food items
regarding their quality, medical practitioners make people aware at their level, national media

promoting healthy habits to avoid diabetes and citizens ignore to intake fast food along with
preferring physical exercise. At the other hand, budget of health care organisation get increased
due to adopting new innovative technological machines, equipment, software or applications in
terms of providing better medication to people suffered from diabetes respectively.

There are various kinds of perspectives including service provides, national media,
regulatory bodies, and local bodies which includes practitioners, actions groups, local media,
service users (Manners, 2017). These factors are involved in society and they put their efforts on
their own level in order to remove threat of diabetes from society. However, diabetes is caused
due to imbalance in levels of sugar in body due to imbalance of insulin hormone which has
several symptoms including blurred vision, loss of weight, smell of acetone, nausea, vomiting
etc. In context to monitor to change of issue over a time includes several perspectives which are
given below.
At the other hand, the initial perspective includes services user because it is observed that
increase in number of health issues in people will results into improvement in demands of
healthy care facilities in a course of time. However, second perspective includes the increase in
cost of health care services due to complicated situations of specific health issues i.e. diabetes in
people. It will facilitate to improve budget of health organisation for adopting more effective as

television, radio, newspaper, promotional events, social media. It will help to make people aware

The people living in country have different cultural values, attitudes, beliefs and

factors which influence development of different perspectives over a period of time. However,
people prefer only those things which are correct according their cultural values or thoughts so
that they will select better option as per their own convenience. Moreover, several elements are

problems such as ozone depletion, pollution and global warming.

 Thirdly, lifestyle factor includes likes or dislikes of an individual regarding clothing,
eating habits, way to chill out and many more which may impacts negatively on health.
 Moreover, emotional factor involves the state of emotion of an individual which motivate
them to make several decisions for their life.

lifestyle diabetes become a severe health problem at national level.

The validity and behaviour of people depends upon their mind sets about specific aspect
according to which they taker various decisions in regular life. It involves the criteria of
motivating people with strong facts and information which effectively impacts on their thoughts
in order to make them convinced to stop harmful habits and adapt beneficial routine of life so
that issue of diabetes can be prevented from society in accurate way. Moreover, health care
organisation should conduct research of various issues relevant to social health, environmental

The above selected health problem about diabetes which is a national levelled problems
because it grab more number of people every year. It is caused due majorly due to unhealthy
eating habits and lack of physical activities which create create hormonal imbalance in blood.
Additionally, continuous suffering from diabetes without taking effective medication may
generate several other health problems like high blood pressure, obesity and many other diseases.
Finally, it is necessary for government authorities and health care organisations to encourage
people for adopting healthy lifestyle in respect of achieving diseases lives (Crisp, 2016).
4.3 Possible consequences of contemporary thinking for health and social care provision &
services
There are different types of critical situations which may faced by people if they will not
become conscious about diabetes. It is essential for citizens to adopt healthy food items, prefer
regular work out and take nutritive eatable products so that risk of various crucial disease will be
reduced. In addition to this, they are required to take precautions very carefully because it single

mistake may impacts negatively health of an individual. Diabetic patient should strictly follow
their diet chart and medication routine so that severity of the diabetes can be prevented in proper
manner. The healthy individuals must obey healthy habits of eating food and strictly do physical
exercise daily to avoid critical health issue appropriately.
